    • Slept 9+ hours but light>deep. I'm feeling somewhat better from the tummy issue. Had sauce alone for dinner. It was tasty. Leftovers tonight. I've got bills and the paper on my calendar and the office that I've been ignoring for months. Not sure what other than bills will get done. Hopefully the lazys will go away after some coffee!

      • Paid bills. Finished paper and submitted. Took all leftovers and cooked with butter and then scrambled eggs with cheese in them for dinner. We call that Texas hash. Did not clean office. Tomorrow steak, avacado, tomato salad for dinner. Need to finish last paper, laundry, and pack.

        • Was up at 1 - couldn't sleep. Worked on last paper and submitted it to the journal editor for review. Upgraded our Internet and addd NFL package for DH - amazing what you can get done when everyone else is sleeping. Went back to bed at 7 and slept 2 hours more. Working on some odds and ends.

            • Lounged around. Two loads of laundry. Shaved legs. Packed. Dinner of marinated flat iron steak, potatoes, and brocolini was yum. Now relaxing until bedtime - not that I did anything strenuous today!

              • Slept about 2 hours and now I'm up. This sucks because I travel later this morning. Guess I will be sleeping on the plane!

                • Got 3 more hours in and another on the plane. It's really hot here, but not as bad as the heat index yesterday at home.

                  • I survived yesterday! After about 6 hours sleep, I was up and leaving the hotel at 5 am. We started the truma scenerio (mass casualty, explosion) that involved EMS, fire, PD, adult acute care NP students, social workers, and my pediatric acute care NP students at 545. By 1030 we where done with everything including the debriefing. Up to my office. Cup of coffee and a banana. Finished all the paperwork my students need to sit for their exams and apply to the BoN for their Advanced Practice RN and prescriptive authority. Did 8 exit interviews with my students (5 had done before). More paperwork. Then 2 hour nursing honor society induction that my students were part of. Off to dinner with my 3 out of town students. Back at hotel to crash and burn by 930pm! I can honestly say that I don't ever want to have a day like that again. It went okay, but it was long and energy exhausting.

                    Slept 6+ hours last night with deep 2x> light. Lounging in bed drinking coffee and watching the early morning news. I've got paperwork for incoming students, a meeting, and I'm tweaking a couple of things on the class to make it look better. I've got to add two things to my last paper that's due Saturday. Then I've got a dinner presentation I'm going to. It will be a long afternoon and probably another late night.

                              18-24 months. I hope teaching were I'm going to school. They have a limited residency program. Students work on-line except for a week on campus each semester. Instructors are there 1-2 days depending on what they teach. School pays for travel and lodging.

                              • Slept about 7 hours. Getting ready to go hood my students. Then I've got to hand out books to my incoming students. End the day at a grad party.
