    • I went out for lunch and had lamb, and chicken & jellyfish salad, and prawns...
      is the real jelly fish or fish with jelly? i have always wondered what proper jelly fish taste like lol how is the strength training going in keto now?

        It was real jelly fish! It didn't really taste like anything... just had a very strange texture. It sorts of "pops" when you bite it.

        Strength training in keto is fine now! Going up! It was really just the first week that I had problems with strength loss and inconsistencies

            Interested too
            I've eaten jelly fish is at Chinese restaurants, usually it is in little shredded pieces in a cold salad with duck meat, i think.

              • Oh lord today was my first day in over 6 weeks with NOTHING SCHEDULED. No work, no uni, no assignments or tests looming, sweet sweet freedom. SO I took my sweet time in the gym and did so much random junk and it was wonderful.

                10 mins cycling

                Leg press:
                2x8 190kg
                4x6 210kg

                1x8 40kg front squats

                Squats:
                9x 40kg
                8x 50kg
                7x 60kg
                60sec squat stretch
                6x 65kg
                5x 70kg
                4x 75kg
                60sec squat stretch
                3x 80kg
                2x 85kg
                1x 90kg
                1x 100kg (matched my current PR)

                3x8 20kg front squats
                2x8 30kg clean & front squat

                2x5 clean, front squat, push press, back squat, push press (20kg)

                8 incline push-ups

                5x 20kg snatch & 5 overhead squats per snatch

                3x8 18kg glute bridges with dumbbells (would not recommend, barbell 500x more efficient)

                2 lengths 18kg walking lunges

                10 mins elliptical

                1x8 60kg stiff-legged deadlifts
                2x8 70kg stiff-legged deadlifts

                    • Sounds like you had fun at the gym. Those "free" days are the best. I have been using a modified version of 5/3/1 for a long time, so I don't have a free day too often. I need to start working those in on a regular basis.

                        I know! I don't do too well with overly planned things - it makes the gym feel too much like an obligation and I have to enjoy it in order to make it a good part of my lifestyle.

                        I know! And to appreciate it! I think that's the trick - too often we look forward to things and then just glide through them unappreciatively when they finally come. Not this time! I'm relishing this downtime I have at the moment

                          It was at a chinese restaurant! Blue Breeze Inn in Ponsonby Central. Bang bang chicken is what it was called... i'm wondering if the bang bang was because of how the jellyfish "pops" when you eat it

                                People keep saying it but like I said... I don't feel it at the moment for some reason. Probably PMS. My mood in the week before my period is getting worse and I'm not sure why. I really want to find a solution because I'm basically losing a week every month to my bad attitude at the moment.

                                Anyone have any ideas?
