    Just started starting strength a little over 3 weeks ago in an attempt to try and put some weight and muscle on. January 4.jpgApril 25.jpgThis is from today after my workout.

    Today's workout was
    Squat-165
    Press-90
    Deadlift-250
    2 minute plank

    I've been eating more carbs to try and put on some muscle, not sure if I look any different between those two pictures. Today's food was:

    B-Sweet potato with an egg and butter, strawberries and blackberries
    L-Tuna spring rolls(2 cans of tuna, carrots, celery, seaweed, 2tbs coconut cream and rice paper)
    PW- half a large papaya
    D- plan on having some sweet potato with lamb chop and greens

    Squat-170
    Bench Press-135
    Pullups-10/20lb, 12/10lb, 14

    B-3 eggs, sweet potato, lamb and banana
    L-chicken and rice(white rice, bone broth, turmeric, onions) and apple
    PW-can sardines and half avocado

      Today after my workout. 134lbs

      Workout:
      Squat-failed 175 on 2nd set, dropped weight
      Press-failed 95 on 2nd set, dropped weight
      Chin-up-10/30lb, 8/30lb, 14

      Upset about today's workout, I think I was a little drained from yesterdays sprints. Maybe I need to be eating more, not quite sure.

      B-shredded lamb with butternut squash and mushrooms fried in tallow
      L-Lamb salad with sweet potato and macadamia oil, strawberries and blackberries
      PW-4 baby bananas

      Not sure about dinner yet lol.

        Bench press-140
        Deadlift-265, almost failed the last rep but didn't

        B-steak, french onion soup(bone broth, onions, sage) and some blackberries
        L-Huge ASS sweet potato with ground beef
        PW-can sardines and banana
        D-Making some Manhattan clam chowder YUM

          Workout:
          Squat-165
          Bench press-145
          Chin ups-10/30lbs, 18, 8/30lb

          B-Bone broth w/ steak mushrooms and scallions
          L-chicken breast w/ sweet potato and butter
          PW-Yonana ice cream (banana, kiwi, and strawberries THAT'S IT) (:

          Legs were a little sore from sprinting on Sunday but got the squats in. I think I gained a couple of pounds of muscle too! What ya think, does the picture show it at all?

            Press-Failed on 2nd set again -_-, dropped to 90
            Deadlift-280 PR

            B-lamb w/ brussel sprouts, pickled beets and blackberries
            PW-two pieces of salmon , shrimp w/ huge sweet potato butter, spinach from my garden and banana

            I finished school so I can now workout when I want instead of after school which is good. Not sure why I keep failing on my press. Ughh, oh well. I gotta keep trying!

              Squat-180
              Press-95 for 2 sets, dropped to 90 due to failure
              Chin up-10/30lb, 7/25lb, 15
              Jumped in 65 degree pool after to relax muscles

              PW-roast beef with kabocha squash and watermelon

              I keep failing the press at 95, my form seems to be good. Maybe it's just too heavy.

                Today after my workout and swim

                Workout:
                Squat-185
                Bench-145
                Deadlift-265, couldn't even pick 295 off the floor and only got one 280
                Also did some muscle up work on the rings

                PW-two strip loin steaks w/ sweet potato and kimchi

                  Pullups-16,15,12

                  Going to start eating according to leangains so fasting until workout and then eat after pwo.

                  PreW-I was out so had a small salad at panera with turkey and an apple
                  PW-T-bone steak w/ HUGE sweet potato and spinach (no butter trying to keep fat low pwo)

                    PW-2 strip steaks w/ 3 cups white rice and 2 bananas
                    D-Pork loin w/ blackberry compote and sweet potato
