        Giving up grains was very easy compared to giving up sugar.
        I can't honestly say that I've given up sugar.

        • I absolutely know I am a sugar addict. And just like any addiction, I always will be. BUT I can control it. I have to constantly be on guard against complacency, because sugar is in virtually everything. (Might have to start making my own ketchup.) Now that I eat so little of it, I get a headache almost immediately after eating anything with sugar, i.e. the buttercream frosting off a cupcake. Yet I still do it. What does that tell you? Sugar is my crack, that's what.

          • I can't remember if I've posted regarding this or not and I'm too lazy to go back and look... I am without a doubt a sugar addict... At times, I can do well for a few days, avoid sugar like the plague, turn it down without guilt and it doesn't call to me from across the room, but recently, none of that has been possible. Quitting smoking was easier than quitting sugar...

            The worst part is that I see these same tendencies in my kids. My daughter especially. Time to reign it in...

              • Hello everyone. I would just like to admit that I too am a sugar addict. I have not gotten my 1 day sugar free pin yet. But am hopeful that I will attain it soon.
