I have quite an imagination and Im a worry wart --- so I've been thinking all kinds of sillyness about where you might be and what might be causing your silence. I'm very happy NONE of my imaginings were right!

I've been eating a lot of home-made "gelato" too, putting frozen fruit in the blender with coconut milk or almond milk or even cream with a bit of stevia. I make it as thick as possible and eat right away. Usually frozen bananas (you can add cocoa powder, yum) or frozen mixed berries or both. Makes me very happy and satisfies that ice cream itch without any guilt. It doesn't get much better than that.

Anyway, I'm still dragging a bit, but I think I've turned the corner. I've had a pretty productive day today, despite being sleep deprived and my skin has improved over the last week or so too, which for me is a pretty good barometer of my health.

I'm going to be spotty on the forum here for a while yet though. We have guests coming soon, and there's a lot of neglected cleaning to catch up. And Translator Son will be moving in a couple of weeks or so, which will probably mean some extra baby-sitting. By the third week of August things should be starting to settle down a bit, but I'll try to come around a bit before that anyway.

Tomi, if you're ever really worried, PM me or email me. The messages turn up in my inbox, so I see them even if I don't log on here.

Take care, everyone, and I'm looking forward to good reports from all of you when I start getting caught up again.

                • Thanks ladies! I put up the picture mainly to update the glasses. There aren't very many headshots of me around, so I used this one I took in the mirror to show somebody my hat. LOL!

New number today! Finally! 150.8 means 66 pounds down. Okay, minus 0.2... But now I really want to see 149 on the scale. Those 50 landmarks are such biggies.

This is a hit and run post. I'm kind of dragging after last night's insomnia (as you may have figured out from the timing of my replies on your journals) and got someone coming over soon. But I was kind of pumped about the scale moving again.

                          • Jenn, that and frozen blueberries in a bowl with stevia and cream. Cold, delicious, virtuous, and such a treat. *sighs with happiness* And easier than the blender gelato. I buy wild blueberries in big bags in the frozen food section. One bag can last a long time. And thank you for the kind words.

Ecks, I almost feel like I would be cheating a little, seeing as I lost most of it before being primal. But I might do it one of these days.

I saved some clothes from my fattest period, and I plan on getting in them for a photo when I'm at the end of the road. Should be fun. Did you save anything from your pre-primal days?

Thanks Cheryl and Kerry. Always nice to see words of encouragement.

                            • Well, I only bounced up a wee bit from yesterday's weight. Still a bit disappointed though, I was really hoping to get down a bit. Oh well. Let's hold the line.
