  • Okay, I know I'm way behind the curve on this, but I just watched The Big Bang Theory for the first time and I laughed so hard I aspirated...which is somehow appropriate...

    • I use Shelton as an example of Aspergers for my students. All I have to do is mention the name and they get it.

      • We are BIG BANG groupies!!! We didn't watch it for the first couple years and then one day we watched part of an episode and we were hooked!!! I think we've seen every episode they've made. The writers are geniuses!

            • I used a Duoneb - albuterol and atrovent. It's all I have in the med cabinet. I only have it in case of someone else's emergency!

                      • Not allergic, I just aspirated my own saliva. (Yeah, I know.) So it was more of a mechanical thing, but it caused some bronchospasm. I coughed and coughed and seemed to be getting a little worse, so I decided to nip it in the bud with a neb. Can you imagine? Death by laughing? Or at least pneumonia? I'm fine now, though.

I've ordered Season 1 from the library, but I will be more careful.

Saw photos of it, but I'm not sure we got it, was out walking Tuesday evening and we had a lovely clear night, with a lovely normal moon, well, at the time anyway....

Best be nipping that in the bud sharpish, you don't want to set a precedent, I'm with Tomi as well, the spanish archer has got to come out if the movie date goes down the gurgler! And no expert, but shouldn't that be monkess?!

                            • I'm all for laying my cards on the table - not one for playing games. I say decide exactly what you want from K. Friends with benefits? Then let him know exactly what you expect. Coffee or drinks and convo weekly, dinner and movie monthly, benefits 2x/month? Since you work nights and he has a set day off, what about breakfast and then benefits? Whatever it is, let him know - most men IMHO (4 sons & hubby) are fairly clueless about what a woman wants unless she is specific.

                              • Probably should be monkess! As long as I can take my Hitachi I will probably be okay. Although I will also need electricity...a lot of electricity...

You're right, Pedidoc, I do need to be specific and he is clueless. That is pretty much the only thing I am sure of at this point. I woke up this morning thinking I want to be done with the whole thing. I've worked myself into a corner in a lot of ways. Shouldn't be like this.

There was no leaping out of bed full of energy this morning. Slept for 9 or 10 hours, woke up groggy. Was okay as soon as I got up, though. Still not a lot of energy. I have to get the tires done today, though, they are in my car!
