    Yes i went this morning and asked to join the group i think i would be good for me with everything that is coming up.
    I love your goals for April. I have wrote out a few of my own that i am going to post to keep me honest

    My daughter loves cats. I know as soon as she moves she will be getting one. I would but my chihuahua is so old that she would not take kindly to a new "friend".
    I think it is wonderful that you are taking in your sons best friend for the summer. It is sad that not all children have the best home lives..it breaks my heart to think of the way some are treated. I was abused as a child so i know it is something you never get over.

        A chihuahua, eh? My oldest granddaughter has one. Are they really dogs? Absolutely teasing, but I think of dogs as working dogs -- thus herding dogs, guard dogs (for animals), search and rescue dogs, etc. I can't help but visualize a cute little chihuahua herding the cattle or chasing off the wolves! I can do it!

        Just tried to read your exercises. I think Chinese would be easier for me. But I think you got a very good workout doing something:-)

          I know what you mean...I really don't think her as a dog like you said because she really does not do what most dogs do...

          I use to post on a bodybuilding site awhile back and that is the way most of them post...I usually do 3 sets of 10-12 reps. I only use dumbbells and they are 18 pounds each. I was thinking of lowering that...

            Day 8

            So i have been at this a week now and i have to say i am feeling so much better. When i was eating oats for breakfast and rice with my lunch i would feel bloated or have this heavy feeling. So even if my weigh is not coming off as fast as i would like it to i can say i love this way of eating for other reasons.

            Today is my off day for exercising. This is hard for me. I have this mindset and i know it comes from one time being 220 pounds but i think if i don't workout everyday i will be that weight again..like i will wake up tomorrow and have gained 80 pounds. I might just do some yoga later.

            It is getting to be warm enough that i might be able to start my garden soon. I can't wait. I have one raised bed and about 10 pots for my herbs. I already have some dill which i love to put in my salads sprouting. My lemon balm bush out behind my fence smells so good..i can't believe it is out. This year i am going to try and grow a pumpkin. That should be interesting and i always have sunflowers. The birds love my yard.

                Hey Vanessa, I don't think you need to lower the weight on your LHT workout, unless you are going for lower weight, higher reps. It seems pretty Primal.

                I'm currently doing 2 to 3 body parts 4 sets, 20 reps 4 days/ week. Tonight chest, shoulders, quads.

                  Good Morning ladies..
                  I wanted to ask if anyone has done the 21 day transformation. I was thinking of buying the book but was not sure if it was worth it.
                  I have decided to try one month of total committing to the program. I am so bad about starting something and then not finishing it. My weigh gain is really borthering me. I don't know if it is hormonal or just me eating right for a few days and then going back to eating junk. So i made a promise to myself. To stay on this program 100% for 30 days and see if i lose any weight..if i don't then it is time to go to the doctor..which i have a terrible phobia of..and get tested.

                  So here is my starting numbers

                  Height-5'2
                  Weight-140
                  Hips-38'
                  Waist~at bellybutton~33.5
                  Thighs-23"

                  These are really the only numbers i care about. My chest and arms are always the same. My upper body has never been a problem.

                  I will do cardio for 30 minutes every morning,20-30 mins of yoga and will lift 3x a week

                    100% for 30 days sounds like a great idea. This month would be perfect. Daughter starting college. You having a bit more time for yourself. And since it's destress month, you won't have to stress about it but can just enjoy the process. I'll look forward to hearing how it goes, as will everyone else. Have a great primal day and keep us posted!

                      It is going to be tough..i tend to get down on myself..you know the whole pity party thing and go right for the food. I so want to do this right and prove to myself i can...

                        Yep, I know the pity thing. Not fun at all. But you can do it, you will feel great, and you are so ahead of almost all of us weight-wise. We're here to support you. If we all work together in our own ways, I think we can do it. There's a wonderful Jewish saying about not being here to achieve perfection but to give it a darn good try -- okay, I paraphrased.

                                Hi Everyone..
                                Feeling a little tired today. I got in my 30 minutes on the exercise bike and my 20 mins of yoga but now i feel like i need a nap..
