  • I think you did a great job today!! Awesome numbers. A lot of people here are doing a 100/100/100 split or a 80/80/80 split. You hit the 80 split perfectly!

    • I think the more carbs thing is working: noticed less hair loss yesterday and today. And also my feet aren't freezing as they usually are! And my weight is going down slowly again. Happy me .

      • Good to know. I'll be watching for these things myself. I've been a bit higher and carbs the last few days, but the weight hasn't come down. Oh well. No rush.

        • My weight is probably going down not because of the carbs, but because I'm not eating chocolate or lots of nuts .

Today I had an easy day at the office. I messed something up big time but luckily a colleague can fix the problem.
          Today's eats:
B: coffee with coconut cream, 2 brazil nuts (amazing how just 2 small nuts can provide all the selenium you need in one day!)
          S: small apple
L: salad with 3 HB eggs
          S: minneola
D: smoked fish (lox, mackerel, sprat, trout) with BAS, guacamole and a roasted sweet potato

          Numbers:
          1405 cal
          85 protein
          82 fat
          87 carbs
          Hey I did it again

            • Hurray~so happy to hear the higher carbs is stopping your hair loss also!!! Mine is completely stopped now and I did some research on potatoes and I really believe it could be the silica and or just starches alone that we as women need for our hair, and nails!! Your macros are excellent..

              • Seriously, you know how to eat well.

When our weight goes down, we don't argue. We just accept it.

Oh, know what? I have muscles in my upper arm! I noticed in the car, I didn't have sleeves and with my hands on the steering wheel I wondered what that "bump" on my arm was *ROFL*

                        • I can't believe how well I slept tonight! No nightmares (me running around in the school kitchen while everything goes wrong), no lying awake thinking of all the things I still need to do/gather. Just good sleep! My subconscious must know that I'm able to do this....but my conscious self is still a little stressed! Tonight is the big night, tonight I have my final exam "Bread and pastry" .
But first I'll have to work half a day and then finish off some things (drying strawberries for the decoration of my sponge cake). I'll leave home at 3:30 CET, be at school at 4:30 CET, exam starts as of 5. I won't have time for dinner, but I will make myself a quiche (no crust obviously), so I can eat a piece of that if/when I get hungry (better than starting to eat whipped cream and chocolate!). If I don't get hungry might as well IF through the whole thing.

                          What I'll be eating today:
B: usual coffee with coconut cream, 2 brazil nuts
L: smoked trout with roasted artichokes
D: quiche made with chicory (witloof), bacon, 3 eggs and 1 cup of coconut cream (trying to avoid dairy for a few days)
                          This gives following numbers:
                          1351 cal
                          74g protein
93g fat (50gr of bacon does this )
                          72g carbs

There is still room for a snack (apple with some almond butter or so? although that would up the fats even more )
