Yeah, but in 6 months you would be into negative weights and might disappear completely and we all kind of like you.

                • I wish a little gut cleaning would result in a weight loss for me.......... but I just stay the same. I've had chronic diarrhea for 5 years - and my weight has never been effected by it. I hope its different for you

                  • I rarely get diarrhea, and this wasn't diarrhea, just frequent trips. And yes, 179 this morning. My jaw is on the floor. What the hell changed to finally get things moving again?

Sounds to me as if we all need to eat Whole 30 all of the time. Congrats!

                          • So a girlfriend and I are planning to run the St. Jude's Memphis Marathon Weekend Half Marathon in December. I went online today to see if registration was open yet. It is with many options...

Option 1: pay $95 to run the half.
Option 2: pay $65 and agree to fundraise but commit to no fundraising minimum, get bonuses for reaching certain levels.
Option 3: agree to raise $500 and receive a racing singlet (shirt), guaranteed entry into the race and an invitation to the pasta party the night before the race.
Option 4: agree to raise $1,000 and get all that plus access to the VIP lounge.
Option 5: agree to raise $2,500 and get all that PLUS a 2 night stay in a downtown Memphis hotel.

If I agree to raise $2,500, Brad and I will only have to pay for fuel to drive down, his hotel stay (if they don't allow you a guest, which I doubt will be the case), and money for pissing away and for eating.

I'm seriously considering the $2,500 option. It's a LOT of money, but I raised $3,200 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in 2011 and for this I'll have more time (and a better season) for raising the money. I see myself hosting a 5k race this fall, etc...

But most of the donations when I did it before came from small businesses and personal donations.

But I've been eating Whole30 for 30 days... why has the weight loss just started??? (I don't count the relosing of weight regained as weight loss b/c it was likely mostly water - I only count *new* weight loss).

                              • I think the thing with w30 is the healing that takes place for weeks after you dump the bad stuff. I think your body is beginning to believe you mean business. I also think it is a mistake for most people to stop w 30 after 30 days. (I personally have never made the 30 days. That should be my first goal.) I know that there are people who eat W30 most of the time and cheat once in a while for really worthy foods.

IMO there is no way that all of that loss was water. Our bodies are very proficient at making fat quickly. Claim it, Baby

I am almost ready to dump dairy, sweeteners and nitrates again to be W30 compliant myself.
