  • Yes! I got my two divided oval servers from our local supermarket. I keep hoping they will do it again. And friends of my honey's family gave us a server that THEY had been given for THEIR wedding. I got some from a neighbor's estate sale. And my son has found a few pieces for us at the thrift store where he goes to school. I love the different ways our china has come to us, and I am really hoping one or more of my kids will want it when they are older.

    • My grandmother had blue willow. It is so pretty:-)

That'll be fun to go down to the antique store when it opens today. Take it you're taking your car, or will it be a part of lifting heavy things if you get it? :-)

182 is VERY impressive. Wonderful news.

I think we are all starting to move forward at a faster clip. Yeah!

      • 'Your Speak. The universe is listening' post resonated with me today. I found myself talking out loud to myself this morning and I feel better for hashing out my problem and plan of action out loud. I rarely do that, but it has made me feel better.

I love that you found those willow pieces and that your mini weight goal came true. I had to curb an impulse to run to the kitchen and look at my mother's royal doulton plates and state how I could really use more since a few got broken and chipped last year.

        Hmmm...

Actually, I think I will... *hurries into kitchen startling the cat*

        • Lopisheep- definitely the car, as I have a boat-load of errands to do this morning!

KeeyK- hello again. I guess you have caught up. I'm amazed at how many pages I've piled up in such a short time. Do you have a journal? I've looked, but didn't see anything with your name on it.

Howdy! Yes, I've finally caught up! I should start a journal, I know, but so many things are holding me back. It's a commitment of time, honesty, privacy, oh all sorts of things which kind of make me shrink from it. But I've learned so much, I know I should start one and pay it forward. Doesn't help that so many of you are thoughtful, clever, funny people - you all seem richly coloured while I still feel I'm painted in shades of gray.

              • Hi Sabine, confession time - I'm not all caught up with your journal. I read the first few pages and the last 10 or so. I want to catch the middle on a slow work day but thought I'd pop in now.
So, you did a 3 day fast?! That's awesome! I did just a 16 hr fast yesterday but I would like to try for longer. Thanks for the inspiration!

yay!!!!!!!!!!! 182 & Blue Willow pieces coming to you!!! See???? Another validation that it works!! Visualization works! I did it when we wanted to go work in St. Croix. Honey "really" wasn't all that qualified to go in the position that they wanted him to do, but man did I put it out to the universe that we wanted to go!! I visualized beaches...the water...palm trees...a tropical house...the plane trip over...whatever I could think of. I looked up pictures on line...& then honey came home one day & said we were going! wow!!! Whatever you want tho has to be truly from your heart & you have to believe that it will happen. Sounds silly but I love to look at the models in the Victoria Secret catalogs & the Fredricks of Hollywood catalogs. I actually used to look very similar to them in my young skinny days, altho tall & willowy & all legs I'm not. But I was built. I visualize myself looking like that again. So it will happen. I know it will, in time.

I hope you have an awesome day & enjoy breaking your fast!!!

                  • Sabine, I'm so happy for you. I remember once I was sitting on my back deck thinking that I had never seen a hummingbird in real life. And right then a tiny rocket came hurtling over the roof of my neighbour's garage and came to sip at the oleander flowers right beside me. I was awestruck. God answered a prayer I hadn't even prayed yet. Such a tiny thing, but I never forgot it!

                        • The only other hummingbird I've seen was dead in my obese cat's mouth. How she ever caught it, I'll never know.

                          • Maybe she visualized!
                            (Sorry, couldn't help it!)

So, I am home from my errands with my stack of new Blue Willow to wash! And massive amounts of cake fixings for Middlest's project. Averting my eyes from those. Also, things to repair the bathroom wall, new printer ink, and library finds. I have not unpacked it all yet, as I sat down and had a chicken leg to break my fast. Delicious. Then I got up to look at journals for a bit, because my mind immediately said, 'hey, how about something else...and something after that...and, oh, yeah, everything!' But my stomach only wants one thing at a time. I'm going to wait at least an hour.

On the annoying side, my finger is aching fit to beat the band today.

                              • Let's see, 180 students divided by six days, 30 per day, a minute each could do it. I recommend lying down, eyes closed in a quiet room, saying "X has passed the state exam" out loud, and a bite of chocolate after each visualization, you know, to cleanse your mental palate!
