    • when I first saw your pic I thought it was your hands over a brown/beige carpet -- then I could see what looked like crazy curly blonde locks (hands covering face). I'm glad to know my first impression was more accurate (grass looks like carpet) How funny..............

          • Well, that didn't go quite as planned

            I had to stay up for child transport. I resorted to some emergency diet-jello with extra gelatin, just to have something to shovel into my face. Sometimes, that's what it takes.

            I went over my goal of 420, but still stayed within the Down Day guidelines, so it was a success. A hair-raising one, but a success none the less.

            Here are the details:

            Up at 5:45

            12:15 4oz salmon with 1t mayo, 1t parmesan, 1t dill

            3:15 large amounts of raw spinach with 1T bacon grease and vinegar
            1 slice liverwurst

            6:00 3 slices swiss cheese with mustard

            9:00 diet-jello with extra gelatin

            Water:7 glasses
            Walking: 20
            Pains:18

            Bed at 9:30


            So, 524 calories instead of 420. Anything under 735 is still within JUDDD parameters, just maybe not as fast. So, yesterday was a Slow Day.

            But today is a Sashimi Day!

            Oh, and Chica is back. She came scratching on Monday evening.

              Thanks for the support on my journal. It really means a lot to know people care and are cheering me on even if those at home don't seem to.

                • I have gotten rid of my black jeans. They are just too big, even with tucks. I am tired of having to hitch them up every five minutes.

                            Okay, where did that food info go?

                            Here's the 8th:

                            Up at 5:30

                            7:00 pork chop
                            2 eggs in butter

                            11:00 sashimi, seaweed salad, 1/2C rice, cooked fish, 2 slices canteloupe

                            4:45 whipped cream with a little sugar
                            2 squares dark chocolate
                            4 meatballs

                            9:15 2 slices swiss cheese
                            1C greens

                            Water: 10 glasses
                            Walking: nope
                            Pains: 11

                            Bed at 10:00

                            And the 9th:

                            Up at 5:30

                            4:00 1/2 kipper

                            7:00 salad with meat

                            2:00am diet jello with extra gelatin

                            Water: 10 glasses
                            Walking: nope
                            Pains: 11

                            Bed at 11:00
                            Up at 2:00
                            Back to bed at 3:30

                            I was up for teenager transport to the midnight showing of 'The Great Gatsby', but my sleep in general is getting neglected this past couple of weeks. I need to work on that. Expecting a nap or early night tonight to compensate for small six hours I got last night.

                            My weight is being amazing. It sort of scares me, it is so good. But maybe it is just a pattern- not too much at one time of the month, and then, whoosh! In any case, I am loving being in the 180s, even if it scares me a little.

                            Took Chloe to the vet for her weekly dip. She was NOT happy. Poor little girl. I will snuggle with her profusely when she gets home.

                            Lots of things to do today. My list of possibilities:
                            Finish up some bags for the craft fair
                            Dishes and laundry(always)
                            Pesky calls
                            Writing
                            Sewing on Middlest's college quilt
                            Drop off items for the Girl Scout garage sale
                            More laundry
                            Walk!
                            Grocery shopping and menu planning
                            Did I mention laundry?

                            But first...must check others' journals! Pebbles, I'm coming at you! And Siobhan, and Jenn, and RMS, and Winencandy, and Demuralist, and Coll, and Ecks, and Honeybuns, and Alessandra, and GayPanda, and Naiadknight, and Skink, and...and...and!

                            Okay, sorry laundry. No time for you today!

                                Hmm...quite a bit of that list actually got done. But I did not get near the computer over the weekend, and now I face a dilemma. Diligently type in what happened these last three days, taking up all my computer time, or...

                                Heck! You know which one I am going to choose!

                                Friday:
                                Food: yes!
                                Water: 9 glasses
                                Walking: um...nope
                                Pains: 8
                                Sleep: Good

                                Saturday:
                                Food:minimal!
                                Water: 10 glasses
                                Walking: 40"
                                Pains: 13
                                Sleep: Good

                                Sunday:
                                Food: yes, but too many nuts
                                Water: 8 glasses
                                Walking: 30"
                                Pains: 9, and gassy
                                Sleep: Good

                                The weight continues to be good. The mood is good. Pains are decreasing, which I am happy about. I finished 5 bags this morning, and as a reward, got to go see a movie, 'The Host'. Enjoyed it. Going for a walk at a local nature preserve with Honey this evening. Middlest is almost done with her AP exams. Littlest is about to start on hers. Eldest called me on Mother's Day and we had a nice talk. Ordered a copy of The Alternate Day Diet, and it just got in, so I'll be picking it up soon.

                                I think that's it.

                                Off to journals. I wonder how Jenn's graduation went.
