I don't comment too often on other journals, but you should know that I'm following this one with great interest! I've had to stop reading the quick-shed success stories because they annoy me so much. (I'm happy for THEM, I'm just annoyed for ME.)

Ah, Ah, Ah---No negative talk about your current weight, please! The number on the scale is but one indicator of your progress. How are the clothes fitting? How are you feeling? Your exercise looks consistent and impressive!

      Keep up the good work.

"Born and raised. I actually just wrote a children's book (coming out next year) adapting Longfellow's epic 18th century poem EVANGELINE: A TALE OF ACADIE. In it (if you're not familiar), Evangeline travels from Grand Pre, Nova Scotia to Louisiana after the Acadian Deportation looking for her long lost love Gabriel."

Oh girl that is awesome on your book!!!! I can't wait to get a copy next year!! Of course I am familiar with Longfellow's Evangeline! Every self respecting Cajun loves that story!! lol I'll bet you're probably some long lost cousin!!!

Hey! Just popping in to say hi. (Since you popped in on mine!) I notice we have really similar stats physically. 5'8" bouncing around 160 lbs, comfy/loose size 10 that reeeeeally wants to be a size eight, but can't quite get there. It feels good to know I'm not alone. Keep up the good work!

I'm curious. At 32" waist and 5'8", you were already pretty thin. You sure you're headed in the right direction?

Love the socks with your Merryls - they must make you just want to move (and lift heavy things)!

                              Hi,
I have been lurking on your journal. I'm empressed with your food tracking. I'm not tracking yet, but if things don't progress, I will probably start. We have about the same stats, 5'8", 46 years old and 164 SW so I am following with interest. I think I also read somewhere that you have 4 dogs. Me too Oh, I also like your username.
Could you post your recipe for bacon, sweet potatoe chile? Sounds super good.
