    • Have fun camping! I can't wait to get out and go again. It might have to wait till September considering all this heat we're getting.

      • Oy! Been a busy weekend already. The camping was just one night (from friday to saturday). Everything I've eaten this weekend has been paleo except for a glass of (gross) Budweiser... Anyways I'm logging in for weigh in Sunday. It is of course the first Sunday in the month and the coolest holiday ever... Canada day! Woo!

Anyways... The cool bit... I'm down to 262.4 from 266.4 in 2 weeks! Holding nice and strong with a solid 4lb loss! And for the record I'm officially 70lbs off! Woo! Gonna go update my signature... surf around the boards then head to get ready for the beach!

Friday night to Monday was rockin! I promise everyone that I will get back on track with proper postage and more attention to everyone elses journals... just hard keepin up with everyone sometimes in the summer. Grok on!

              • That actually sounds like a lot of fun. I wonder if I would have the nerve to do it now. I just ordered a new bathing suit (hope it fits), so there's one excuse out the window...

New tastes? That's going to be hard with you; you eat a good variety. I'm going to make curried chicken breasts for supper tonight. Does that qualify?

                • @Judg :P Already a huge fan of curry spice (as I use it quite often on chicken, ribs and beef...) but curry will always qualify as awesome!

Breakfast- Chunk of summer sausage, 1 egg

Lunch- Chicken wings and Zuchinni Speghetti

Supper (Kind of?)- zuchinni speghetti (couple bites), pork rinds.

Supplements- 2+2 tbsp of MCT, 6000ui Vit D, 3000mg Salmon Oil.

Excercise- 1.5KM barefoot walk, 500m barefoot run, 280m Slosh pipe walk

For the 2+2 MCT oil I figured I'd try an experiment- MCT as post workout fuel/sleep fuel... Can't tell if it worked though because for the 2nd night in a row my room mates left the lights on in the hallway/kitchen ( I live in a bungalow) and I had a hard time sleepin from all of the light seeping in... not cool

                      • High cortisol also makes you extra light sensitive. I remember when I first did super low carb I thought it was healthy I was waking to the sun, which it is at a certain point. But I was waking at the first crack of sunlight. It was because of high cortisol. And, as you know, I eventually got less and less sleep.

                        • I get that imbalanced cortisol and melatonin can make you more light sensitive but it's moreso that my bedroom door leaks in tones of light if the hallway light is on to the point where I could probably navigate my room without any issues with the hallway light on and the door closed. I can sleep through it for the most part but there's a certain point where I've been sleeping in the light long enough that my body thinks it's time to wake up. I have no problems taking naps in the day time but you can only sleep in the light for so long...

So catchup time! I have 2 days of food journalling to get down

@Judg- Slosh pipe is a 12' PVC pipe 4" in diameter half filled with water. The purpose is to keep the water balanced while moving (walking, jogging, front squat, back squat, "rowing"... etc). One wrong move and all of the water sloshes to one side of the pipe causing you to go off balance. You are supposed to use your core strength to get it back to centre if/when it happens.
