I'm not an alcoholic, per say. I have always been a weekend binger, so I'm not even sure we are in the same sich, but I know what it is like to have those cravings. I will write later about what has helped, but fuck yeah it is hard, and fuck yeah you can do this. Just think of it as imperative. For your life, your health, and your hotness.
PS for the record I am not completely reformed, but I'm working on it.
I'm certainly no expert here, but I also know what it's like to just want a beer (or 3) after an exhausting , or not so exhausting, day at work. For me, what's helped that craving is working out. Not a light walk or easy bike ride, but really working my ass off, even if just for 20 minutes. Getting really sweaty (which actually isn't necessary, it's just what happens to me after working out for 5 min!), and having that feeling of just being absolutely done....and wanting to just lay down!
Not saying it's the magic cure, but I know it's helped me out at times. Actually even tonight, no wine with dinner....that's a shocker for me.
