      • New year, new me has taken on a new meaning after the flu. Hooray for 2012!

Today, I was 159.5, but only because I paid homage to the white throne for 24 hours. I'm completely empty. The number will rise tomorrow. And TOM started. Right from the flu to cramps. Sheesh. But, this is cool, in 10 more ponds (149.5), the BMI will no longer consider me overweight! I'll still have fat to shed, but that's a great start.

Goals for 2012: get to my goal weight (135); be consistent with fitness; introduce play; and work hard to pay off our house in the next two or three years. To get to my goal weight, I really just have to keep the eating to weight loss, as opposed to maintenance, levels. It's not hard (although not per say easy). I need to stay consistent with primal-style fitness. Walking has been challenging this winter - I haven't wanted to be outside. And, finally, I need some physical play. DH and I are going to try ballroom dance classes.

        Happy New Year MDA friends!!!

        • yeah for the temp loss. I am so glad your feeling better. dang TOM, bad timing. TOM will arrive this week for me.

Love the goals! I can not say I have wanted to be outside either (the wind has been awful even when the temps are decent). I need to get on the treadmill though. Do you have access to a treadmill maybe?

              • Today, 160. Up +.5 from yesterday, but that was to be expected I would like to keep this 160, however I didn't eat too badly yesterday, considering that I was still recovering. I didn't have hardly any veggies, and had way too much fruit, but at least everything was Primal (and Whole 30...which I'm unofficially following). I also took a short walk (45 mins).

Today is the last day of vacation. Sigh. I don't wanna go back to work tomorrow. We have lots to do. Wish me a productive, yet restful, day.

                    • Hope starting back to work has been helpful for you all, being back on a schedule-getting away from all the holiday treats-being among people who have likely set 'losing weight' as their new year's resolution, I go back tomorrow.

                        • Holding at 160 today, so yay! Stomach is still not feeling well. I'm not puking my guts up, but it still isn't real happy. Guess it will take awhile to get back to normal.

Yesterday, made myself walk on the treadmill for 20 minutes. My body still feels weak - walking is about all I might manage this week.

We were super productive yesterday. We're in another cleaning/de-cluttering/downsizing spurt (we did a lot of that before we moved). I like it when we are organized and clean. I also took care of a few items on my to do list, which made me feel better.

I'm rather behind on all the journals and our SPEED page, but will hopefully get caught up later today.

                              • love when I get the de-cluttering bug. I feel one coming on soon. Every time I walk into my basement I get that sense when I look at the overstuffed shelves.
