  • Okay, I know this is very perverse, but we're all private here and all, and I know I'm among friends. When I saw that pic of the bloody cat, my first thought was, "Damn, his girlfriend must have one voluminous period!"

Puppy is fluffy and sweet. Looks like he'll grow up to be regal.

Who says back fat is a bad thing? Maybe on a hairy guy at the beach, but not on a crab.

growing up in a spread out sort of area where people occasionally let their dogs roam free, i've seen the results of not ending well o.o thankfully the number of big giant friendly doofuses outweighed the ones who liked breathing chew toys

i used 2 cam settings to try and get an accurate color reading, but alas. but long story short, it bloomed up in the morning, it opened completely an hour later and by the afternoon it had changed from red to coral

the dogs thought it was delicious

Excellent use of the word voluminous, haha. I usually use it to describe hair personally, but anything with volume.

bloodorchid, though I am not a huge fan of flowers (nor opposed to, pretty neutral honestly), I appreciate all of your photos, and more importantly your rather blunt, unexpected style of writing. Very unique. Keep it up, just saying hi.

              VOLUMINOUS!

Sounds like a Harry Potter spell...
Please feel free to follow my journal, unless you're seeing this link IN my journal... That's quite the paradox! I promise to keep my content up to date, honest, and hopefully mildly entertaining.

                • Your dawgs are adorable! And your flowers are so lush, I especially love that double peach! From the pictures I can practically feel the moisture. I know you're sick of it but it's so friggin dry here I'm jealous of the raindrops on your flowers. When we get rain it's in the Winter when almost nothing is blooming. It will be many months before we see any rain.

i feel like VOLUMINOUS! could be a curse for hermione's hair.. or harry's aunt's sudden bodily expansion. with a sound like a big bouncy ball splatting on the floor or wall.

and hi thank you, i like unexpected and blunt

                    • Your dahlias are gorgeous! I had to laugh at the pups in the plants as that is problem here too.

I think UF and I should get a two for one discount on the water barrels since we are both in Northern California. We are special!

I love the way the pups are helping themselves. Our dogs do that too, we have to be careful when we harvest (carrots and peas in particular) to make sure the dogs aren't watching or else they'll help themselves. For some reason they never do it when they're left in the yard on their own.

                              • I have to ask how often do you brush those beauties? I have a corgi that borders on a fluffy and man does he produce excess fur! I could brush him daily and he'd still shed. I'm not the grooming type, I do the bare minimum for myself (borderline guy when it comes to grooming) so it's I'm not too keen on grooming my canine friend and in fact he hates it too, so we do as little as we can get away with, fortunately he's naturally good looking so it's not too noticeable.
