        Omfg. The texas road house has my children.

        I got to pick out my own grass fed steak with veggies and whipped cinnamon apple butter.

        I even got my own baked sweet potato.

        So goddamn good.

          The primal gods smiled on me yesterday. I had a hard time getting up this morning because the bed was so warm. Plus, it was very dark in the room, maybe my melatonin was still producing?

          Who knows.

          Anyway, this morning was a crazy workout.
          1 set of 5 pushups
          1 set of 5 pullups at 90lbs assist
          1 set of 5 pushups
          1 set of 4 pullups at 90lbs assist
          1 set of 3 pullups at 105lbs assist (omg awesome drop set)
          1 set of 5 pushups (I really squeezed in this last set of pushups)
          1 set of 4 pullups at 90lbs assist (I really had to trick my mind into hitting the last one by squeezing my core really hard and ignoring my body)
          1 set of 3 pullups at 105lbs assist (omg DOUBLE awesome drop set that I barely finished)

          1 set of 8 pec fly at 17.5 lbs per arm
          15 secs of plank
          1 set of 8 pec fly at 17.5 lbs per arm
          15 secs of plank
          1 set of 8 pec fly at 17.5 lbs per arm
          15 secs of plank

          (the planks should have been lat pulldowns, but I was really squeezing my core here for extra good measure)

          1 set of 5 bicep rope curls at 90
          1 set of 8 tricep rope pulldowns at 90
          1 set of 5 bicep rope curls at 90
          1 set of 8 tricep rope pulldowns at 90
          1 set of 5 bicep rope curls at 90
          1 set of 8 tricep rope pulldowns at 90

          All this in under 30 mins

          I'm gonna up the weight next week on the tricep pulldowns, and pec flys.

          I will also go for more reps on the pullups, pushups, and bicep curls.

          Lastly, gonna hit plank a bit harder, then add side plank into it for a more rounded workout.

            I did it, hit plank harder.

            I managed to do 3 sets of 8 reps on shrugs alternated with plank
            Overhead pullovers alted with sideplank
            Then body rotation with a medicine ball

            I am eating lots of sweet potatoes and need to calm down on my starches for a while.

            I could certainly switch to ketosis for a while.

            Either way, lots of red meat for me.

                It's tough when even your psychologist is telling you that you're crazy. I've decided to pay my leftover balance from what I owe her, and just move on. I don't need a psychologist, what I need is a group of people I can talk with regularly, in person.

                I really need networking.

                My whole family is trying to protect me from something they think they can see around, like maybe a heart attack corner. It's just as useless trying to take away cheerios from my unknowing 10 month old daughter.

                I nearly cried last night. Taking care of my daughter every day has hit my testosterone hard and I think I'm getting hypothyroid problems with low t3 (completely unrelated to my daughter.)

                I feel like garbage. The most I can do is sit and wait for my 6 pack to come around, so I can put on my "dream body by bacon" shirt as the biggest screw you to the world.

                  Your psychologist tells you you're crazy? THAT is crazy.

                  I completely commiserate with the networking. I am fortunate that most of my experiences right now revolve around awkwardness rather than people thinking I'm going to die from the way I eat. I really wish I had more friends, especially ones that understand this way of living.

                  Meat-Up Groups
                  Any of those close-ish to you?

                  That sounds like an amazing t-shirt and I will totally get one once I get toned and/or get a six-pack

                    Hey you, I'm seeing all that negativity of yours around the forum.

                    CUT IT OUT.

                    I say this with a smile Remember that you cannot change other people (exception being your own children, but pick your battles), only yourself. Be the example that will convert other people by focusing on yourself. Eat real, wholesome food. Take the supplements you think will help you. Experiment. Go outside and breathe.

                    You can do it and you can help other people, but only if you focus on healing yourself and being positive!

                            Aw. I will try! Isn't it nice that I can be all positive and supportive yet I ate Burger King for lunch because boyfriend was being sweet and brought lunch to work? Yes, it was my request. At least I can only manage a couple sips of soda before I feel parched & disgusted!

                              I've been a bad grok lately.

                              I ate CW pizza from little ceasers with some breadsticks.

                              On top of that, I had 4 chocolate bars in the past few days.

                              Yuck.

                              I'm gonna go grain free/legume free for the next 4 weeks.

                              This should be good.
