  • So, I got really emotional last night and I figured it was because my lack of sleep was catching up to me again. So I just woke up from a 10+ hour sleep. A bit long, but man, I feel so refreshed!

    Have been suffering incredibly from foot pain because last weekend I went out in heels in lovely SF clubs, and came back with 5 hours of sleep. Bad sleep throughout the week and poor eating habits have not helped. BUT WHY do I love clubs that go so late =.="

    Anyway, it'll be resting for these next few weeks, and looking forward to joining krav maga next Monday. I'll do a bunch of burpees and tabatas on the side if I don't feel my exercise is adequate.

    Also going to eat potatoes and rice this week. Hah.

    • Oh dear. Yesterday ended not very well. My friend came back from home and brought me this huge canister of chocolate covered macadamia nuts. Needless to say, I ate way too much of it. After 3 potatoes and some brown rice of a day's worth of eats. Darn.

      • Not sure if it's poor nutrition or just overall stress (or both!), but I am sitting here now staying home sick from work. For some reason I can't get my ass to sleep, so I am making this post... headache and sore throat were really huge this morning. I don't know what's wrong, but hopefully I can learn to manage my stress better. I feel like I've gained 3 pounds (of fat) since last time I looked (2 weeks ago) lol.

              Does that also include those not employed by our government?

                    Ok, then it counts in my book. I had not thought about enablers gaining undeserved value when using it as a tool. You make a good point.

                    No! I have not! Looks new; how do you find this stuff? I finished Baccano!, Madoka Magica, Cowboy Bebop, Welcome to the NHK, and am halfway through Code Geass. Might try Rurouni Kenshin after, since I liked Samurai Champloo so much. Looks like another good one you've picked up that I will want to check out too XD

                      • Lol. The one thing my friend brought back for me from California was chocolate-covered macadamia nuts. she said they were "Californian chocolates."

                          Oh noes, it's an ongoing one...it will be so agonizing when I catch up to the current episode and have to wait for the next episode. It's that bad for me even for Project Runway.

                          By the way, have you ever watched Game of Thrones? Or read it? Thoughts?

                            LOL can you buy them at all in Texas? I find chocolate covered mac nuts at Costco here and some Chinese stores, but they are expensive as hell compared to back home. Also, I have yet to find the Macnut farms Kona coffee chocolate covered macadamia nuts (those are my favorite out of all the brands) on the Mainland Unfortunately, I can only get those in superbulk at Costco back home, too, in a 2 lb canister, so I tend to OD on those if I ever get my hands on one xD;

                              Currently in NYC and I haven't seen it ?but I would think I can get it simewhere. I just thought it was funny that choco-covered macs was what was considered "California."

                                I think the season is almost over, at least!

                                I like the show more than the book. It seems to be much better paced.
