    8 days later only down 2lbs .. but probably growing muscle .. i know i should ignore the scale but i cant

    ive also been cheating with small amounts of candy (natural but still i shouldnt have) .. so i need to clean that up and eat less fruit for a lil bit to pass this plateau ..i also had a night out where i had some drinks with friends .. beer namely which was dumb, but was the first time out in a LONG time .. but overall thats about 12-13 lbs in the last month, not a bad loss .. im pushing hard to hit 225 by new years .. that would be AMAZING..

    god i love this .. i feel so much better, mind is clearer, etc...

    200 by spring is the goal .. lets say April 22nd .. that would mean in 9 months i would have lost 105 lbs .. might be possible might not, but im gonna start getting more serious .. ive gone from 44 pants to 36 in anything .. from XXL fitting about right maybe a lil small to XL being a tiny bit baggy .. i havent ever in my life worn size 34 that i can remember (i would have been 10-11 years old then), so size 34 pants with a L size shirt would be unbelievable .. already people think im like a new person

      funny i even keep this because no one reads it LOL .. but it serves as a timeline for my weight loss to myself if nothing else ..wouldnt mind comments

        well i overcame the plateau and im back to losing after gaining a lb .. i went back to no nuts and no sweets .. i had really let myself slip into almost a piece of small candy each day, and nuts when i could get them ..

        so no nuts, no sweets, and im down to 242 now .. so i feel better about it ..

        goal is still 200 by spring .. and 225 by new years .. i thnk i can hit the new years goal easily .. i might even be helped in a way by a surgery before the end of the year .. not that thats how i should look at it LOL, just that if i have surgery i will be not eating for a few days, and ill be on 6 weeks bed rest of sorts .. ill be able to move around fine and walk and all, just cant do excessive things .. remember i havent started excercising more than normal yet even .. i just havent found the motivation ...

        ive been thinking of eating leaner meats, but the fatty meats are working wel for me so far ... we will see what happens . .. im just so excited to be back on track .. once i get to goal weight maybe i can have a treat once a month or so .. its part of a new thing that im working on to get rid of my sense of urgency and need for immediate gratification .. i dont feel like i appreciate things enough when i have them often, nor do i get the chance to enjoy the wait .. im trying to make it a thing where i wait 60 days before i buy anything, and even longer for big things .. then ill know if i REALLY want it and will appreciate it

          241 today ... lately im doing 2 days IF between 1pm and 8am .. and then 1 day 3 meals .. with my chrons i need the 3rd meal occasionally to help my digestive system ... somehow it helps a lot ..

          anyways, moving forward! pushing towards that 23* number!

            239 today .... had a few days of chrons blockage and issues which explains losing a couple lbs quickly ... also been eating coconut oil with atleast 1 meal a day, usually about a tablespoon .. and no sweets or nuts ..

            feeling GREAT ..

              239 still today .. which is good because i dropped the weight so fast last week i wasnt sure it would hold... especialy because ive eaten like 2lbs of strawberries in the last couple days .. got some good deals on strawberries so couldnt resist LOL .. but i do need to give up on the fruit again because it helps me lose ..

              also noticing i lose faster when i IF for a couple days and then get to 3 meals a day .. so this next week i will copy last week .. no food between 2pm and 8am Monday and Tuesday, and 3 meals a day Wed-Fr ... we will see if i can lose a couple pounds next week ..

              i say it all the time on here, but this is like a dream .. its been so fast people ask if im sick, they ask if im depressed from my mother passing away, they ask if my chrons is rreally bad, and all i can say is no.. ive REALLY lost 66lbs in about 3.5 months just eating different, no excercise, just eating different .. its a miracle .. and i feel better, i feel less hungry, have less cravings .. also, a good friend at work is 13lbs down as of yesterday which is less than 2 weeks.. we set a goal for him to drop 25 in a month before thanksgiving, and i think he will beat that EASY .. another friend started as well .. i love helping my friends out with this .. i cant help but want to pass it on, its like a secret that needs to be known by EVERYONE ... im also thinking of startting to print tshirts about primal life ...

                  still at 240 ... up a lb or so, probably less than a half pound ..

                  little plateau to overcome .. hopefully i can do the IF/then 3 meal thing again and ignore these strawberries! also got on the eliptical this morning for the first time in forever .. only 10 minutes, but wanated to get more steps in, maybe this will become a daily thing. ..

                  ps - im ready for the winters! i actually kinda miss it, ive done so much this spring/summer/fall it will be nice to just relax a little!

                    giving carbs a go after figuring that i have been eating 25-35g a day ..

                    for dinner a fair size sweet potato and turkey ... the texture of the potato felt funny! but that will push me to around 90 carbs on the day (trying to hit that PB 50-100 for weight loss maybe 1 day out of the week while i try this?)

                    we will see what works ... also going to try for possibly leaner foods ... my calories have been around 1000-1500 a day .. so I think i will continue to lose, just trying to find the most efficient way

                      just checking in ... avoiding the scale like the plague while i try to take in more calories and a few more carbs to see if it will help .. honestly its making my stomach a little slower moving (chrons and intestines i mean) ... but we will see what happens . im thinking ill be back on the scale friday ... i cant stay away TOO long LOL ..

                          237 today .. barely .. almost 236 ..

                          i dont think the carbs helped with the loss, they did in fact make me feel like crap, and messed with my chrons some .. so i dont know if i will be having them again .. the key for me is green veggies .. broccoli, greens, leafy veggies, etc help me with my stomach to move through my chrons area until surgery next month ...

                          just thought i would check in ... 220 before new years still is the goal, and would be such a GREAT feeling .. 200 by spring then would be like a dream ..

                              Hey Todd! You're doing so well and you've really inspired me - please don't fret about the scale too hard. I think your body is doing the best it can to protect itself and help you lose weight in a safe way. You aren't doing anything wrong, though I'd avoid the berries of course if they are irritating to your Crohn's.

                              Whatever you decide to change, keep enjoying yourself and try not to worry - you will achieve your goals!

                                thanks my friend!

                                this morning i weighed in at 235 ... that makes 70 lbs in less than 4 months!

                                i started a leptin reset yesterday .. so hopefully that helps me get back in control ... my work schedule has me eating dinner most nights at 9pm .. so im working the reset to have no lunch but dinner around 4pm ... BIG protien filled breakfast within 30 minutes of waking up .. and fasting between 4-5pm and 6-7am the next day ..

                                with winter coming and an upcoming chrons surgery i want to continue the push hard .. and i need to find a way to take more steps per day as well
