  • Fuckin tornados!!! Been awake most the night..they missed my small town thank God. They affected friends and students though.

    Tired.

    Going to plan clean eating today..it will help if I Aam sleeping.

              • Checking in.. kind of a busy week though I am a master at evading my journal and putting into words sometimes what is going on.

                So, I bought a mower..had to.. mowed last night.. asthma attack. So breathing treatments etc. I am still wheezy a bit today but feel a little better.

                I ordered a scale.. it has not come in. I feel like I am starting over as I have no clue what I weigh.. probably do not want to know. Still in same clothes so thats a plus, maybe.

                Leaving for a science teachers conference Friday. I was suppose to present, they lost my paperwork.. then found it and said they could add me, I am like nah, I will enjoy just being an attendee. So then I get to thinking, what is on the menu there (meals are included). I got this email: *** = not bad choices

                All in all it could be worse..Looks like sunday breakfast is an issue but they said they can make me a couple of hard boiled eggs.. thats fine with me. I asked for a piece of fruit as well.

                I was all set to plan to bring a cooler.. yada yada.. not sure I will need it. However, I would love some feedback on anything advised to bring.

                So, this week is all about packing for me.. and packing for my daughter to go her to nanny's for the weekend AND still do the laundry, dishes, floors etc. etc.

                • If you have some beef jerky around it would be helpful to have a snack. I also do individual packs of raw nuts, not sure how you do with those. I would just seriously load up on the veggies so my plate looks beautiful and I wouldn't feel so deprived that I would go get the desserts. If you have a favorite tea it wouldn't hurt to take some of that either.

                  Congrats on the planning ahead! I would be throwing stuff into a bag on my way out the door on Friday!

                  • I am allergic to nuts.. I do not have any jerky made (it never lasts long) but thought about getting a rotisserie chicken and portioning out snack bags to keep on ice and get for a snack. I do plan to load up on salad though and take bottles of water.

                    They also said they have plenty of fresh fruit I can access as well.

                    • Protein is what I look for in a snack, or a cup of hot tea with HWC will do the trick if I am not starving.

                      • so got a sweet little text saying the scale has been delivered. hmmm... interesting that I have been warned..LOL I am not getting on the damn thing though until I get back from my conference. At the conference I will eat clean, walk a lot (its a must) and just enjoy.

                        So as the days warm up I am not so into drinking coffee which means no cream and funny I seem fine with none of that and no breakfast still. My daily IF's I figure are 17-18 hrs with a 6-7 hr eating window. I would like to get down to a <5 hr eating window. I am not pushing it but maybe it will happen this summer.

                        • So my lil darling has had her bike all of 2 weeks and has had her first xray because of it. She crashed into a fence. Good news, no ribs broke or fractured but she is very bruised. She is on restrictions of no pe or soccer fod a week and is hacked off. This is not good news for an adhd child who can not stop long enough for me to put some frozen brussell sprouts on her. She is also missing a double header soccer game this weekend. Poor mom this weekend.


                          Interesting tidbit through this i think though. The doc scale is 1 pound higher than my new one i think..they weighed her and then she weighed herself.

                          Ate ok today..a couple of indecretions..

                            • I could never get a bead on the difference between my old scale and the docs because i would weigh in the afternoon etc st the doc. I will weigh in monday am. I did step on tonight..what is the lure???? Ugh..my weight seems to have maintained?? Maybe i have lost a little..pm weigh ins not a grest way to compare. If my ocd kicks in in the morning i might step on in the morning..

                              Have i mentioned typing on a tablet sucks sometimes???? Lol

                              My daughter is restless..as much as she is in pain..she cant stop moving..poor baby girl..

                              • omg, so glad it wasn't worse. My son has broken an arm 3 different times, surgery twice for 2 of them. Scarey stuff. Why did they restrict her activity? Did she hit her head as well?

                                Ahh the lure of the scale. This morning I was actually thinking "so maybe I could do once a week, what day was it that I weighed, geez only 3 days ago, rats. Move along nothing to see here!" I resisted, barely, so far.
