  • Your entry sounds stressful. Anything you can do to reduce the stress (push off the scale till the end of the month and just measure instead maybe?). Are you tracking what you eat, so often I will think I am so totally off the mark and then check out the track and discover it is not nearly as bad as I thought. It is one of the reasons I like to track, I tend to be very hard on myself in my imagination, the reality rarely justifies.

    Maybe today, you can do one really good thing for yourself? something you know will make you feel good either physically or emotionally. something you enjoy not that you have to force.

    We are here for ya.

      • Karin, I think we have all been driving ourselves crazy. After the 15th, I may go back to a weekly (Sun.) weigh & measure schedule. Not weighing has not helped me binge or obsess less, but it has shown me my thought process.

                • I am not sure if not weighing is helping or not. I was not in a good place when I started and I am in a better place now. I think I either need to do it or not. Maybe do the 15th and the 30th, measuring one of those times. Daily didn't work.

                  • 15th and 30th is a good idea. Enough time in between to work on other issues, but not too much.

                      • So the birthday was a diet napalm..but delicious..olive garden. Bday ok..same shit just on the day of my birth. Trying to now wrestle my ass and my head back to a healthy place.

                          • I wish I could figure out the switch that takes me to that place where I feel so confident and effortlessly follow my plan. I had it when I first started SPEED. But then the plateau rocked that and now I can't seem to get it back. Kind of floating along on the edge of compliance just enough to sort of maintain, but not enough to lose. But we will get there, since really we have to.
