  • No warning yesterday.. I started to feel a little hungry but no dizziness etc. prior to it. However I had had my coffee with HWC in the morning so its not like I was TOTALLY calorie deficient.. strangeness..

Up at 3:30a this morning.. what fun is that?? NOT! Then of course I dwell on things I can not control and do I get back to sleep?? ummm nope. This should make for a fun day.

    • Eek. Hate it when it happens. Drink lots of water (that seems to help me when I'm really tired!). Hope your day goes okay.

      • Manifesto:

        1. When I am with family and friends I do NOT have to eat. I will eat inside my window ONLY when hungry.
        2. I will focus on quality sleep. To do this I must not be engaged with the Internet. I there lies my issue. I will craft more and relax in the evenings.
        3. I will attempt to walk daily (calf is still healing)
        4. I am not the scales bitch, or I will weigh monthly
        5. My food will be paleolithic and will consist of a sweet potato 2 x/week while on fast 5
        6. I will not stress @ birthday cake in April (2 days)

I think I covered it all

          • This morning is the first morning I have not thought @ food. I also skipped coffee. Progress?

I took today off to take lily. To the doctor. She has had some serious headaches. In fact she says that there is always pain. Tylenol ans advil do not help. Hopefully we get some help and answers.

                • Back from the doc and the verdict is pretty sure they are migraines we just do not know the trigger as. They have yet to stop. So she is on a low dose med that is suppose to dull some nerve receptors and we go back in 4 weeks to see hoe she is doing. This med is taken at night and causes drowsiness so maybe it will help with her sleep issues. (Having a jelly bean moment I hope will pass soon)

                  • oh man, hope you find the trigger soon. for years, my aunt would spend every visit at our house with a massive migraine. then one day, they figured out it was a caffeine withdrawal. My parents drank decaf at home, and she was at least a pot a day of hard core stuff. But since they never ordered it when out to dinner (which of course was rare) and drank the real stuff when on vacation (we all used to go camping together) she never realized it.

wait, what, you have jelly beans in your house?

                        • Lily's sausage smelled so good this morning. I am not / was not hungry so did not break the fast. I know I eat out of boredom and eat " because its there "..this I am working on. I also eat when stressed (hence yesterdays jellybeans) . You would think if I could identify it I could fix it. Ugh! So I am still not weighing daily, it helps the scale is broken. My goal is to eat once in the window. As it is now, I eat at the start and a snack at the end.
Tired this morning.. day 2 no coffee. Yesterday was unintentional but this morning I thought I would switch to ice tea..wouldn't you know..its decaf.

Lily 's medicine they say will take a week or more to kick in and have an effect..poor baby! Her birthday is next weekend..am I ready? Nope. At least I do not feel ready.

                            • I was looking for something in my son's room, which I very rarely enter as it is a disaster area, and found a bag that had Christmas candy (still in its wrapper) sitting in there. I took it out as food is not allowed outside of the kitchen, dining/living area, and it has been sitting in the pantry since then, he finally nibbled on the chocolate Santa last night. When his sister was home it was all I could do to keep her away from it! And she is the one with the perfect body, he is a bit on the chubby side. Go figure!

                              • Sloop hard to stay out of candy. I am resolved to avoid it today. Getting things done for lily's party next weekend. Should keep me busy and out of a snack mood. Although I am not hungry, I did have coffee this morning and feel human.
