  • get real girl!!! you could have (and have) done so much worse. Yes it likely threw you out of ketosis, but omg, no joint pain from the other junk is a huge plus.

    • I know its not as bad as it could have been.. its all I had on hand though. That and sardines.. oh and I am having a diet rootbeer. so with the exception of the rootbeer, I am binging on primal foods. I feel better now. It felt like a temper tantrum.

      • I get it, for sure. Glad it has passed. Now remember, if you got a traffic ticket this morning you would not go around driving like an idiot, because WTH you blew it, right? Nope you would likely actually drive even more carefully than normal. Use that analogy as you look toward the rest of your day, ok?

            • well.. the binge reappeared after dinner. SF chocolate pie and peach cobbler with ice cream. I have done well today. Back on track but did not track. Tracking ramping back up tomorrow. What is weird is that this morning the stix show I was still in ketosis (moderate).

              Lily is at a friends tonight.. yeah I get a break but now what do I do? sheesh.. there are no good movies playing. Correction- there are no movies I want to see. I should clean or tackle Lily's room but I dont wanna!

              • Eee, when i am home alone in the evening it can be dangerous re me and the pantry. You have all that crafting you could do. And there is always pinterest

                • well, I decided last night to take a bath and give myself a mani/pedi and watch a movie until it dried and I went to bed. I am so boring!! LOL

                  PS.. oh yeah, I did my taxes too! hahahahah

                  • that sounds like a lovely way to spend the evening! Well except for the taxes part. Luckily DH does ours. We have to write a check, which he prefers because it means that we didn't lose interest on money the government was basically holding for us. But it is a big one this year.

                    • I'm totally with your DH. The government owes us money this year, but won't yet process our return. I HATE it when I get it to go in the wrong direction. It gives DH fits to owe the government, but I'd rather earn my own pidly interest.

                        • Something about the "late" tax changes and that their systems are not yet equipped to process our return. Only the government can get away with that crap....

                          • hmmm... state or federal? I did mine on taxact.com (of course mine are fairly simple as I do not own a home and therefor do not itemize). I am hoping it will all come sooner rather than later. Our state refunds take FOREVER to get back because the states buget is a flippin mess. So is the federal I know, but Kansas seldom has their poop in a group.

                            • tracking, tracking tracking.. its going to be reg. eat more fat protocol for a while. I really really really want to be 270 by the 15th. Eee gawds.. I sound like a newb. I am going to give it my best effort. Currently at 278.

                              Just spent 30 minutes on my hands and knees scrubbing my kitchen floor while listening to church. Just as I suspected, the mop just does not do a thorough job. 2 buckets of water later I can say its scrubbed and free of everything the mop could not handle. Unfortunately, it relatively looks no different. The floor is old old old! However, I know how clean it is! No idea how to enter this in MFP.

                              I have been pinning garden ideas.. can NOT wait until spring!!

                              • I now always do my floors on my hands and knees. I actually use vinegar water, of all the things I have tried on my wood floors it works the best. I actually used a floor cleaner on them once and they looked cloudy, so I went back over with the vinegar water and was amazed at how much dirt I picked up. When I clean, I do it for real, start at the ceiling and work my way down, using the vacuum cleaner first, then go in with what ever cleaning agent is appropriate. Drives DH crazy because I can leave crap laying around but you can eat off of the floors, the clutter is what makes him think a room is not clean stuff sticking to my bare feet is what makes me think a room isn't clean.
