  • Chris- LOL!!! Good Gravy is so much cleaner than other things I could say. LOL.. so lets see.. how about "Oh pass the bacon!!" I am not posting on MFP, I have a journal app on my kindle ( because I can journal offline) but I can post what I am eating etc. here.

    I fattened up my bullet proof coffee this morning.
    butter (3T- its a HUGE CUP)

    • I know I'm funny this way. BPC does not work for me in the morning. No matter how much fat, I'm still hungry an hour later. Now, if I have a BPC (though for me it's tea) at night, say in place of dinner, I'm totally fine. I have yet to figure this one out Let us know how today goes.

      I'm so excited for your mom! Once I get this figured out, I'm going to introduce it to my mom. She had very bad seizures in the past and still gets migraines - I think it could help her.

        • Karin, that may get you there today. I do a version of BP green tea, but then I also do a breakfast drink, the combo holds me very well.

          • Oh.. forgot to add news from my mom. She has been at this not quite 2 weeks. When she started her blood sugars were like 150-180, this morning??? 86! I would say she is in ketosis! Well Pass the Bacon!!

              • She does take meds and is still taking them but wants to work her way off. But this is the lowest BS in a while.

                BP coffee got me to lunch with more fat. Had a burger (1/3 pound) with blue cheese, bacon and cheese and a salad with blue cheese dressing on the side. Current stats: p-44, c-6, f-122, cal 1295 My fat is rockin' today!

                      • I usually only do about an ounce of cheese at lunch, when I do the avocado/egg salad.

                        • ok.. the results for the day are in after I had a 1 1/2 egg omelet with ham, bacon and sausage as well as a few peppers etc.

                          p-69g 27%, c-17 6%, f-174g 67%, cal-1920 by and large the percentages look fine.. the fat seems a bit high but I do not really know the high end of my fat. My calories are also high which accounts for the excess fat.
