    still loving the trail gloves, havent been able to sprint in them because i hurt myself and cant run but all in all im very happy i bought them

    now for a bit of an update. i think i may have hit a bit of a plateau on my weight loss, ive been stuck at the same weight for about 2 weeks now so im going to try something out. i am going to purposly get myself out of ketosis for a day or so and then really hit it hard with the low carb thing. i think i have been becoming a little slack with my carbs lately which may have hurt me a bit. i know ive remained in ketosis the whole time but i think im on the upper end of the carb limit. im hoping this will kickstart the fat loss again

      i had a solid day of being out of ketosis and yesterday i started back with the low carb thing, it will be interesting to see just how long it takes to get back into ketosis. i have heard it takes 48 hours so we shall see

        I'm usually back in ketosis the next day if I eat a lot of carbs. When your body is used to running that way, it goes back fairly quickly.

            well this is interesting, i am now back in ketosis and im having what i can only describe as the carb flu symptoms, or more accurately the same symptoms i had the first time i went into ketosis, namely low energy, head ache, diarrhea, upset stomach, etc. i really didnt think i would get it since i had been in ketosis for so long and only went out for a day. i guess it could be coincidence but it is strange.

            for the record it took about 52 hours for trace amounts to show on the ketostix and another 8 hours or so to get a solid color change

              started simplefit today. im at level 1 and since i cant do a regular pullup i did 3 austrailian pullups for substitution. i managed 18 rounds in 20 minutes so 54 pullups 36 push ups and 54 squats. doesnt seem like much but man what a workout!


              also today i picked up a big duffel bag and 3 50lb bags of sand. i split the bags into 6 25lb smaller bags. i think the duffel bag i bought might be to big though as it is 36x20 and there is a lot of unused space inside once all 6 bags are inside. im not real sure if thats how its supposed to be or not

              oh yeah 150lbs of sand is really heavy lol

                day 2 simplefit

                5 rounds of 6 pullups 6 pushups 10 squats for a total of 30 pullups, 30 pushups and 50 squats in 5'17.63" not including rest time between sets. total time including rest time was just under 11 minutes

                after i did this i went out and did hill sprints and carried my slosh tube up and down the hill. also did a bear walk climbs and crab walk down the hill.

                i timed one of my sprints and it took my just under 12 seconds to sprint up the hill. i sprinted up 7 times, carried the slosh tube 5 times bear walked just the one time plus i walked the hill 3-4 times. now i have to go mow the lawn. ugghh

                as for now my groin pull injury seems ok. hopefully it will stay away

                          L2D1 23 rounds!!! thats a total of 69 australian pull ups, 69 push ups and 92 squats!

                                did jumping pulls on both days. although i did day 3 in under 5 minutes im going to to do level 2 again next week and go back to australian pulls as i think i hurry the jumping pullups to much to be beneficial. i suspect my day 3 time will slow down past 5 minutes again
