Been crazy busy lately not much time to update the journal. Started logging my food in for a couple of days on fitday to see what I am doing wrong, seems as though I have stopped losing and even gained weight this week. So far I have been 70/20/10 fat/pr/carb. I think it may be fruit that is doing me in, I am not having any dairy oh and nuts... I haven't had a problem with nuts until lately. So I will see what is what for a week or so and get it back under control.

I love hearing my husband talk about PB to his family on the phone...he is totally excited about it. He is talking about it now. LOL

Well I updated the blog tonight too..so it was a productive day. Off to an early bedtime tonight...I stayed up too late last night doing scrapbooking...a new found obsession LOL. I think I slept 4 hours last night...one of the boys got up sick in the middle of the night and that pretty much did it for me to be up for the last 2 hours of my sleep.

down to 201 this morning ....rock on!! I had ice cream cake last night for the first time in over a month all was good. My husband and kids did a little birthday celebration ahead of time last night for me, hence the cake, some homemade cards and some kitchen fun stuff. Feeling good today, had a big salad with tuna on it for lunch, dinner is primal chili. Keeping track of the food in fitday and it looks like I am doing alright with keeping carbs under 100, yesterday was the first day I hit 110, but it was a special occasion. Happy that my body moved past its funk.

Yesterday was a great day, got a lot of things done around the house, got my walking in and even did the WOW. My kids I thought would find it funny to see me crawling around the house, but they didn't seem to notice...oh well, might have to try it again tomorrow to see if they will join me. I had not so primal chili for dinner last night :s It had one can of white kidney beans in there, that was the only no no but it tasted great.

Today stepped on that contraption called the scale and it smiled at me with a big 200.............. 2 more down and 1 more to go to get out of this God forsaken 200 curse that I have been in for too many years. I was very excited to put shorts on today since it is like 74 in PA in October and was also very happy to know that I officially can't keep them up. These were the shorts that were tight, tight tight back in June. That makes it 25lbs down since the beginning of summer. I hope that when I pull these summer clothes out next year that I can bag them all up to good will .

Well I turned 37 yesterday and well it felt like any other day, of course I went into this birthday much lighter than last Can't complain about that now can we. Yesterday I mowed the lawn for excercise, moving slowly, I wore the Heart rate monitor and burned almost 600 calories from pushing that beast around the yard. Today I am taking the kids to Bounce U as a surprise birthday gift to my youngest who will be 4 in a few days. I will for sure be bouncing around with them...I love that place.

Trying to keep up on the food journal on fitday. I have been keeping the calories under what I burn by about 700- 1000 and trying to keep % 60/20/20, that has been successful for now.

Looked at some PCOS stuff online today and am beginning to realize I think I eat too much fruit. I am going to try to keep my carbs under or around 50g and see what happens. I think the reason why I have been more hungry lately is the stupid apple chips and dried apricots. I really love them, but I think they are the cause for my cravings as of late. thankfully they are out of the house now. I am not going to buy dried fruit and if I do for the kids it is off limits to me. The later half of the day I have been having a rough time, I am extremely tired today and dealing with some bad behaviors in the kids has compounded my attitude as well. Maybe I just need a mental health night and get in the PJ's early and read a little once the kidlets are off to bed. Tomorrow we need to get out of this house for a bit, I think some retail therapy is in order.

I held strong on Halloween with the candy, but failed majorly yesterday and today. Yesterday was my son's birthday party and I was hoping he would want ice cream cake for dessert, but he wanted regular cake. So I bought myself a slice of cheesecake to help fight off the urge. I ate the cheesecake and then buckled to some snickers and almond joys and then some cookies and candy corn. Then today I said that was it, we won't mourn we will just move on...and then I fell again tonight...guess where all that candy is going tomorrow...to work with the husband. I can't have it "laying" around. It has been too tempting.

Of course I have needlessly beat myself up over this. I am going to press on. It is a lifestyle not a diet. Just needed to confess.

I have to admit too that I am getting discouraged, which I guess is no surprise to me, this about where I get with everything and I don't want to buckle and give up. I usually get a month or 2 into a new workout, a diet and then stop remembering how far I come and give up. I don't want to get there now. I want to push through this. One day at a time I guess.

I am going to take a vow not to step on the scale for an entire 2 weeks to break this crazy habit. Let's see how I do with it. Well that is all from here today.

Yeah that was a test pic that I stole from a friend, that was actually the week I started primal I was down 4lbs that day I am such a loser for not taking better before photos. What I say in my head is oh I will try it for x amount of time and then see if I have results...dumb logic I know LOL.

Well I stocked up on the probiotics last night. Starting supplementing and hoping that the candida exits quickly, looking forward to feeling better. I have been having much more energy lately, which is a huge plus because I was so not feelign that way last week. My carb count is low now that I eliminated the nuts, been hitting under the 50 mark for 2 days now. I don't know if I wll keep it that low, we shall see.

I am so not good at doing this journal daily I am still at a bit of a plateau here, hope it breaks soon.

I had 3 eggs over easy with 1/2 a can of salmon and a whole tomato sliced up with some pepper and salt. Been really struggling today with sugar cravings, don't know why, trying to hold fast and distract myself. Don't know if I will have dinner tonight I am real full from lunch, maybe I will just have some greek yogurt with blueberries, that might cure my sweet tooth.

I have a wedding to go to on Saturday, very excited to get out for a bit with the husband and without the kids. Looking forward to the primerib on the menu.

Don't know how things are going on the probitotic end, just keep taking them and hoping for the best.

Well it has been a good few days here, been busy trying to catch up with fall cleaning in the house and changing over to winter clothes etc. before Thanksgiving hits here. I have been up and down ladders, cleaning windows, cleaning curtains, ironing etc. Almost there, I have 4 more windows to take care of hopefully today or tomorrow. The changing of the clothes is done now at least until spring. Got all the bins of clothes sized and organized, this job I dread. The boys grow so we have to change over the clothes but then I have an attic full of clothes that I say what do I do with. Ugh, well at least until the holidays I won't worry about it.

Still stuck at 200....grrrrr!! I am going to have to bust through at some point and then I am sure I will look back at this and laugh at how much it upset me. But I have seriously determined in the end it doesn't matter, my body will go to the weight it wants to and I am under no time constraint per se. I have my cousins wedding in 2 days, never did buy a dress, found one in the depths of the closet that I had outgrown and now have shrunk into, so gotta love that bonus, not only on the wallet but on the progress I have done. It is wierd to think that there is no turning back anymore with eating. I mean on a SAD I couldn't wait to get to my goal weight and then go back to the way I was eating. Sounds stupid right, well it is LOL. I think that is why I don't feel pressured about getting to a goal in a certain time anymore, because I am commited to PB for the rest of my life. It is sustainable and that is what I love so much about it. I don't feel like I am missing out and the occasional indulgences are coming guilt free for the most part, still gotta work on letting go a little. I guess some old habits are hard to shake.

I wanted to also follow up with the energy issue I was having, my energy is totally back to normal. I don't know if it is the supplementing that has brought it back or my body adapting to the new way of eating. I started supping Vitamin D, Fish Oil, Probiotics, a multi vitamin, Saw Palmetto (to help with top of the hair regrowth, since I seemed to have lost a ton over the past 3 months) about a week or so ago. All this week I have had fantastic energy resumed working out as a result of feeling good. So all in all things are looking up. I just wanted to document the energy issue for myself so that I can look back and say oh yeah it was around week .....

OK so I went and showered and then stepped on the dreaded scale and am happy to report that I broke the 200 curse in the middle of the day Can't tell you how good it feels to be under that number/nemesis. 199 the scale read WOOOOHOOOOOO!!! OK got that out of my system.

What a great weekend of great food at my cousins wedding. Lamb chops, roast pork, sushi, oyster bar the list goes on and on, oh and did I mention that it was great to see them get married too LOL. Well Saturday was the wedding, Sunday was my mom's 60th, so we celebrated with more food, fresh spinach salad, shrimp sauteed in butter and I had some cake, it was yummy with fresh whip cream on it. Monday was really hard to focus, I was tired all day and craving sugar, pushed through that and here I am today, fasting from a weekend of gluttony. I know all will be good in a day or so. Thankfully Thanksgiving won't be so crazy. Haven't weighed myself since I hit the 199 mark, going to see if I can go an entire week without stepping on that sucker, maybe longer, that is my challenge. Everyone at the wedding was floored about my weightloss and I have had 4 people on their way to buying PB and more on the way hopefully. My whole family is a meat family, my cousins own a ham business and most of my family works there, so meat for us is a no brainer, it is the pasta that is the problem.

Well anyway today we are chillin at home, it is a rainy day and I have a ton of laundry to catch up on and school for the kidlets. Maybe I will get a workout in at some point today.
