    Slept in till 9ish.
    Supply teach from 11:30 - 1
Worked on the Band Concert poster, gathered some props, and made business cards for one of the characters in the play.
At 4:45 I got a last minute invite for drinks and supper at a friends house, my Farmer was there already.
From past experience (lots of drinks, late meals), I grabbed my flute, the props and quickly ate some left over chicken with an avocado before I went over (at 5). I figured I'd visit for a bit and then leave for play practice and band. To my great surprise they had supper ready when I got there! I wasn't very hungry ('cause I'd just eaten) but I took a 1/2 a chicken breast and some fried mushrooms. I left at 6, dropped the props at play practice and then went to band.

    Snack at band was NACHOS!

    Guess what I had???

Here's a photo from the set construction on Saturday:

Oh! Starting to be a bit more serious when they bring them home to eat.

I always try not to be intimidating. Hmm, maybe I should switch it up, just to see what happens, LOL! Problem then is, if he actually marries her, we're off to a bad start... Only have one DIL so far, but she's great.

Yes, I always try to be nice, friendly, and non intimidating too. Eldest has brought several home. I get attached to them and then it ends I hope he keeps the latest.

Up at 9, left at 10, supply teaching job from 11 - 2.
Shopping. I bought some Organic Cacao Nibs. From Peru.

I nibbled on them on the ride home.

Supper was fried pork loin, balsamic carrots and rice. My Farmer decided the pork loin needed "something" and he put a can on Cream of mushroom soup on it I had a small bowl of frozen blueberries with whipping cream. I made "tea" with the cacao nibs. It had a weak chocolaty flavour.

The Butterflies are itchy. My Farmer gave them a bath 'cause I can't bend over the tub

Well then, dust yourself off and come up with a plan of attack.

                  • You're not starting ALL the way over, though. And you have so much experience under your belt now. And the great resource of your journal. You know what you need to do for YOU to release weight.

You'll be happy dancing again in no time.

Until then, perhaps a slow, graceful, mourning dance? Very evocative. And can be done holding a glass of wine in one hand.

Resolve came up with a great plan today while I was supply teaching.
My Dragon didn't agree with it when she swooped in at 3.
Remorse is showing no sympathy right now

Thanks, Yeah, the carbs didn't so much sneak up today as "explode" out of a bag of Avocado oil fried potato chips...

                      • Copied from Gay Panda's journal:

                        Nov 2
I need Resolve's help with sugar.
                        My Dragon wants/needs sugar.
She thinks about it all the time
But she REALLY NEEDS it between 4 and 7pm.

Today the Dragon was satisfied with 2 glasses of red wine (does that count as sugar?) and a drizzle of pure maple syrup with the baked apple and Mascarpone cheese.

I said NO to the chocolate and the Real Fruit Gummies, even when my back was hurting.
And I have left the large bowl of Halloween treats alone!

                        and today
Resolve is very strong in the morning, full of ideas, lists and plans, but vanishes around 3pm when my personal DEBAUCHERY (a little purple Dragon) swoops in and stays till about 7pm. Remorse arrives in time to pick up the pieces and survey the damage.

                        • Wednesday

I got a 6:15 call this morning for a supply job. I took it.
I had a Chai with whipping cream and I grabbed a small chunk of Brie and 3 Brazil nuts on my way out the door.
I "saved" them for my 10:30 "lunch".
Resolve was with me and we created an awesome list of all the things we were going to do. Foods we were going to avoid. etc.
I was done at 2:30. I stopped at a bulk food store to buy some arrowroot flour. I walked up a different isle, saw the Avocado oil chips and that's when my Dragon swooped in!
                          I ate the whole bag

Supper was ground turkey burgers (raised by our friends) with cheddar cheese and a dill pickle. Dessert was 1/2 a mango.

I made a crustless quiche while I was making supper: eggs, cream, spinach, bacon, onions, red pepper (possibly the last one from our garden) and cheddar grated on top.

After supper I went to my Home Instruction Student's house (7-9pm)

I supply teach AGAIN tomorrow! That's the 4th day in a row!
I'll have to catch up on journals tomorrow. Hopefully.
                          G'nite

                          • Hey! I have all those ingredients in my fridge. I think a quiche is just what I need for snacking. I could even make the top all fancy with the red pepper slices, the way Roger Moore did in 'View to a Kill'. It's a plan!

Well, at least chips are not as bad as candy.

What you need is some kind of good snack on hand to fill you up and leave you less vulnerable. Have you tried Judg Fudg yet? I find getting enough fat very helpful as a pre-emptive strike.

I can't remember how you make it. If it's coconut oil, chocolate, coconut flakes, etc. I've made several versions (including my coconut hearts) in the past. Not lately...
