    Lift heavy 3x per week

    Short Intense workout (kettlebells or bodyweight) 2x per week

    Walk 2 hours per week

    Today's Diet


    Breakfast

    Coffe with heavy cream

    Protein Shake w/ strawberries, almond milk, almond butter and yogurt


    Lunch

    4 hardboiled eggs

    1 cup cottage cheese


    Snack

    1 oz almonds


    Dinner

    4 oz beef

    4 oz chicken

    2 oz pork

    3 oz onions

    3 oz salsa

    6 oz guacamole


    After Dinner

    Glass of red wine

        I have been doing the Rite of Passage workout according to Pavel Tsatsouline's Enter the Kettlebell video all summer.

        7 minutes of one arm swings 210 reps total

        100 russian twists

          Coffe w/ heavy cream

          Protein shake w/ almond milk, almond butter, strawberries and yogurt


          Lunch

          Grilled Salmon

          Zucchini, mushroom, onion skewer

          salad


          Snack

          Almonds


          Dinner

          Salad w/ mixed greens, carrots, cucumber, tomatoes and chicken and 2 hard boiled eggs

          oilive oil and rice vinegar for dressing

          1/2 cup cottage cheese

          glass of red wine


          Today's workout


          1x5 Turkish get ups with 32 kg kb

          10 minutes of kettlebell snatches via V02 max protocol (15 seconds of work followed by 15 seconds of rest then switch sides) 140 total reps

            4 eggs w/ onions and peppers and coconut milk

            5 slices of bacon


            Snack

            Avocado shake w/ coconut milk, agave and coffee


            Post Workout

            Protein shake w/ almond milk


            Dinner

            Steak and chicken thigh cooked with peppers, onions and zucchini topped with a bit of homemade salsa.

            Glass of red wine

                4 eggs w/ crabmeat, asparagus and cream cheese


                Snack

                Cup of blueberries w/ coconut milk

                Almonds


                Dinner

                2 four oz beef patties

                Coconut bread (Contains coconut flour, coconut oil and eggs. I tried it for a bun on one of my burgers. OK, but a bit dry)

                Lettuce (the bun for the other burger)

                Cucumber gazpacho (the recipe I used was a bit heavy on the onion)

                Glass of red wine


                Today's Workout

                Swung pick axe into dirt for 15 minutes in doing some yard work. It definitely got the heart rate up. Max was 160.

                Swam some laps in the pool

                          I have been using kettlebells for about a year now and I tell you that not only are they a seriously effective training tool, but I find them a lot of fun.
