    I'll turn 39 in the middle of this month and have been dabbling in Primal (60-70%) for the past month and feel I want to crank it up.

    GOALS:


    1. 6'0" currently weigh 195lbs. Would love to get to 180, but in no rush..


    2. Lose my gut


    3. Show my wife this works..


    B: Primal energy bar (made them yesterday) + coffee (black)

    S: sunflower seeds

    L" tuna salad, berries

    S: nectarine, Primal energy bar

    D: roast chicken, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, half a tomato.


    Need begin WODs..

      What recipe did you use for your primal energy bars?

      Eating lots but still hungry? Eat more fat. Mid-day sluggishness? Eat more fat. Feeling depressed or irritable? Eat more fat. People think you've developed an eating disorder? Eat more fat... in front of them.

          For Day 1 (Aug 3) I added an evening workout..combo of pullups, pushups, deadlifts, crunches, and walking lunges..

            Day 2:


            B: Responsbily Slim Shake with Blueberries + black coffee

            S: 2oz Almonds and Green Tea

            L: Salad: spinach, tom, cukes, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, turkey, egg (oil+vinegar), celery

            S: hard boiled egg, primal energy bar, nectarine

            D: sirloin steak, broccoli, salad (Lett, Tom, Cuke).


            Exercise: AM: 40 crunches PM: 40 crunches

              Day 3


              B: Responsibly Slim shake + black coffee

              S: sunflower seeds + green tea

              L: Salad (mixed greens, tom, cukes, mushrooms, grilled chicken)

              s: Primal energy bar, green tea

              s: almonds

              d: salad, with chicken


              Exercise: AM 40 crunches PM: jump rope, pullups, pushups, air squats

                B: Responsibly Slim shake + black coffee

                S: almonds + green tea

                L: Salad (mixed greens, tom, cukes, mushrooms, grilled chicken, egg)

                s: Primal energy bar, green tea

                s: green apple

                d: grilled trout, broccoli, seaweed salad, red wine. clams


                Exercise: AM 40 crunches

                    Day 6 (travel day: birthday party


                    B: Responsibly Slim shake + black coffee

                    S: sunflower seeds + almonds

                    L: Salad (mixed greens, tom, cukes, grilled chx, egg, turkey)


                    d: 2 hamburgers (no bun), 2 hot dogs (no bun), 1 large beefsteak tomatoes..3 light beers


                    Exercise: "play" with kids in pool..

                      DAY 7


                      B: omelet with bacon, mushrooms, jalapenos + sausage +black coffee

                      S: sunflower seeds/almonds

                      L: Salad (mixed greens, tom, cukes, turkey)

                      s: plum and an apple

                      d: baked flounder, asparagus + red wine


                      No exercise today..


                      We'll check the scale in the AM...

                        ONE WEEK DOWN...


                        Day 8: Morning Weigh In: 191.8


                        Seems like things are heading in the right direction. I have business trip for 4 days later this week and will need to be on the guard to keep things on the right path. I may use travel time to work in some Int. Fasting during this trip. I need to work in some more exercise into week.

                              Well, it's only one week..and I don't think she's believing it yet, all it is right now is that she has to make carbs and starch for her and my 2 daughters (3 and 5) because I won't eat them..Chance she will join me??? stranger things have happened but I really doubt it. Thanks for writing..
