    Thanks, John. My consumption pattern was usually 2 glasses of wine most days and "more" (and more variety) on weekends. My wife and I really enjoy red wine, and I like beer and scotch as well. But I think it has prevented me from losing those last few pounds of fat around my middle.

      August 11: Woke up early at 5 am. Breakfast: Goat kefir, piece of steak and some raw vegetables, mostly radishes. And coffee. Ate some sardines and carrots later in a.m.


      Lunch: Pieces of grilled beef, chicken and salmon and a green salad with a strawberry or two. Snacked on carrots and had a sip of EV olive oil in the afternoon.


      Dinner: Pork loan, a plate of raw vegetables and some cherries. Handful of nuts and a few dark chocolate covered ones.
