Hi Everyone....so I have been primal for about a month+ now. Did not set out on this journey to lose weight, but to change my way of eating and my fuel source for performance. Read the Art and Science of Low Carb Performance and really found that interesting as well and very informative. I am trying to keep my carbs as low as possible, (typically around 60 per day) with about 65-75% fat. My question to all the runners, help, I feel like crap running!!! Any advice? I am not sure how to help this process to keto adaptation. I know it can take up to a month. I started drinking boullion which seem to help, but my legs are like bricks these days. I seem to have an energy surge around 4-6 miles (my mileage is low right now..no more 10 miles for my longest run (about 30/week with 3 days of cross training) during the summer...I live in the south and it is incredibly hot and humid, also effecting performance). Any info would help. I know it is a bit of trial and error in the beginning, but would like to hear from anyone who has been through it. Thanks!
