Funny you mention the chiro like that!! The chiro is who finished him off about 12 hours prior to his disc exploding. I use a chiro on a case by case basis, but it is not something I do often. My chiro would argue that I need to see him more often for improved results. I don't know!! I guess that could be another thread eh?

Sometimes bad posture and the mattress we are using are the factors of getting a back pain. Many have suggested that yoga and acupuncture are good treatment for back pain.

I suffered acute spasmodic back pain for 40 years, from an old hip injury and then my Achilles tendon problems, which affected my stance and feet when walking. For me, the key to losing it has been strengthening my back muscles through swimming. Since I start swimming I have not had an acute attack, and it used to be 3-4 times annually, resulting in using my walking sticks (yes, I often needed 2 of 'em!) an 3-4 ays of rest and strong pain killers. Using the loo was exquisitely painful!

Chiros are like doctors- they range from very good to very bad. Get *lots* of recommendations. The trick is finding a good one, same as a doctor.

My chiro from over five years ago is who I can thank for my sciatica.

They drain your pockets, lie, claim they can cure cancer, and give you more problems. I don't trust them.

For the record, I was seeing four different chiros in a two year span.

Do not allow yourself to become wrapped up in a food 'lifestyle'. That is ego, and you are not that.

One (of many) good questions to ask is when they would tell you to go a MD. If the answer is never(or anything close), keep looking. The chiro I've heard the most positive things about is essentially primal and will send someone to an MD the second they think it *might* be something an MD can help with.

I started seeing a chiro because of debilitating pain wrapping around my abdomen going to my back. I thought I had a BACK problem. I didn't bother seeing my MD because I knew it'd take forever to see her.

So, I started seeing a chiro. For months and months, I paid and paid. My pain never went away, but strangely enough an adjustment would usually helped.

                  *INCOMING TMI*

When I started to poop white feces, my chiro looked at me and said, "well, it's all about the foods you eat that change the colour of your feces".

What he SHOULD have said was: "Get thee to a MD woman! You have a very sick gallbladder!!!"

It was finally removed in 2010.
