The guy with the white shirt and the chick moving to help him should try out for their country's sprinting team.
In matters of style, swim with the current. In matters of principle, stand like a rock.

To make it even worse, the first folks "coming to his aid" are WALKING! What a nightmare!! Not as bad, but check out this guy's deadlift form. Seen this one?

Good god. That was awful, I wasn't expecting that at all. As you say OS, luck to walk away from that.

And that deadlift video MUST be a joke... surely, I mean WTF!

It's amazing what some people think classes as good form, or even acceptable form, or even form that won't leave me in a wheelchair. I think my 9 year old son would have better form than that.

Just for the record, in most first responder / first aid etc training, it's heavily emphasized that you never run when trying to help. You're more likely to injure yourself and be useless. That said, I guess I'm conceited enough about my own ability that I'd probably choose to run anyway, but..... the rules say don't.

That makes a lot of sense, for sure! However...if I go down somebody better be runnin' to my aid!! ;-)

The helping guys reacted just fine; fast calm walking and doing what they were supposed to do. Never rush too hasty into an incident; some injuries can be worsened by moving the unfortunate person…

I'd probably have calmly walked over and educated him on how explosive movements are inefficient and can lead to injury.

Dude needs to get his squat strength up. Couldn't stand up easily so he shot his butt backwards/torso forward, causing a serious weight shift back onto his heels. He went TOO far back onto his heels - combine that with his crossfit-y rack position (which seems to emphasize as much thoracic extension as possible instead of keeping a tight core) and you have him walking backwards then crumpling from his hips :/

                          Wait, explosive movements are inefficient?

Leave the weight on his neck while you lecture just so you know he's listening!! LOL!

And it's too much weight for him - particularly since his form sucks.
