    I will write more later, but I've received so much motivation and support around here on my decision to enter the world of competitive powerlifting, I wanted to let everyone know how it went.

    I ended up successfully squatting 355 and 380, then failing 395
    Successfully benched 220 and 240, failed 245
    Deadlifted 455, 480, 500 (HYOOGE NEW PR!!!)

    Total, 1120. Raw classic (no wraps) men's open amateur 148 lbs division.

    Thanks everyone. I'm super happy with this for my first time out. Next up: 1150!

                Yes, I do. So you know that what I say is true! 😜 Seriously, do those numbers for your weight put you in an elite status? I am so blown away by how your hard work has paid off. I'd take you for a drink if I lived near by - even though I don't drink - that's how proud of you I am!

                    Excellent work, especially with hitting a 500 deadlift!

                    And I bet a 4 plate squat isn't too far away for you.
