Oh... Now I see it. I actually thought it was a shoulder/pec/armpit, with "Sugar Is King" being written on the deltoid.

    This is better though.

I am sure as hell that I am hot (as is OP). I am unsure about where these arbitrary percentages come from. I am pear shaped with a .72 waist to hip ratio- that means I am carrying a fair amount of body fat in an oh-so-pleasing to look at package, which I believe to be perfectly healthy and well functioning (meaning I'm happy, I sleep well and have a high sex drive and regular periods). But every website tells me I'm overweight if I weigh over a certain amount, or have more than 24% body fat. No one can blame OP for taking these messages to heart either. Body fat% aside, adding lean mass and losing some fat (SOME!) is awesome, I don't want to be misunderstood on that point- my point is that those numbers don't mean jack squat.

IMO the mirror is always the best guide, who cares what the scales or skin fold calipers say, either you look good or you don't.

Supposedly you might, but in actuality you don't. Also agree with Old Schhool. If your body works well and looks nice, forget the numbers entirely.

Wow I had no idea those scales could be so off!?! And yeah I probably shouldn't care about the numbers, I was just surprised that both scales it was quite high. I don't wanna lose weight anyway and I do think I look hot -although I wish my booty was as fine as Moluv's!! - I just wanted to firm up a bit. Looking at the bodyfat % pictures I would eyeball myself as a 24%. Don't have bikini pics, but this one is pretty accuratewen_greenskirt.jpg
So yes RichMahogany, I just dropped 5% haha! You guys are funny

                  Thanks,

Just so you know, uploading a pic takes moderator approval which takes several days. Hosting the pic on a site like imgur.com is much more convenient.

Please expound on this. Especially "flat and fatter" or is that a typo?

My body fat scale also gives me water % and mine is low at 42%. But I'm not lc either.

Sorry, OP, I'm a bit of a thread hi-jacker but I mean well

Water inside the lean tissues count as "muscle" on the digital scales and when water goes down the fat persentage goes up. Glycogen binds water, around 4 gram of water per gram of glycogen and when going low carbs glycogen levels goes down and you'll pee out a lot of water from your lean tissue and this again lower the internal pressure and make you look “fat and flat”. The fat reduction will usually be around 1 % or less after a week on low carbs, and in a calorie deficit, but water content can be 5-7 % or more OFF from your bodyweight in the same period! When starting to eat carbs water will be stored inside your muscles again and push them out and make you appear firmer, more toned AND leaner, unless you are overdoing the carbs and get a spill-over of water under your skin that make you appear "puffy"…
