  • Running

    New to being primal, so I know that chronic cardio is a big no no, but for me I just like to go for a run to relax after work. I didn't know if it would hurt my progress or would it be okay? I don't run too terribly far about 4 miles each run about 3 - 4 days a week.

    Just looking for advice. Thanks in advance.

    There are still quite a few of us that enjoy running. I'm down to three days a week, but there are plenty of folks on the athletes forum that do a lot more.

      If it makes you feel good, do it. It's a great mental health thing - I love going for a run to process things in my head and get into a good "mindplace". I've stopped training for half-marathons and stuff in the past 2 years and I'm just now starting to get into running again, but in a less "distance-oriented" way, and with some sprints thrown in on some runs.

        Running is good exercise for everyone I suggest that you avoid very hard and intense bouts of training when you're being beat up in the office.
