    I recently started using one for squats and deadlifts because I'm now lifting more than my own body weight. If nothing else, it helps me focus on keeping my back straight.

      Well I had my first session with a weight belt today, set a new squat PR and it felt a lot more comfortable too!

            Just a cheap one from eBay. (The proper type though, 4" all the way around). Works fine, but I'll probably look around for a good deal on a better one (probably lever).
