    Hello!

    I was wondering if there is a minimum or maximum for walking? Both in a time and in distance? I'm just curious what everyone else thinks. I usually average around 30 mins, roughly 1 mile, twice a day when I walk my dogs. How much do you all walk, or bike, or whatever you do on a regular basis?

    I donīt think there is a limit to how much you can walk but I do believe that walking should be accompanied by other types of exercise, like strenght training.

    I usually go walking for about an hour and walk more or less 3 miles, 4 or 5 times per week.

      To me walking is just a natural form of movement. I do not own a car and walk everywhere I can. I don't even consider it exercise anymore for myself.

        I try to walk everywhere too.

        As for a maximum... i don't think thats possible. Just think of it as walking to the next tribe who happen to live 20miles away.

        I often do 12 mile days in the mountains when on holiday. I hardly sweat but this low level cardio seems to burn through body fat like no ones business, almost as good as sprints.
