  • F*ck yeah I did a pullup!

    It only took me, oh, a year or so of training and progression, but I finally just did a dead hang pullup. Two, actually.

                This is great to hear. I have been working on pullups since July and have been looking all over for information about how long it might take me. A lot of young men make rapid progress but not a lot of info is out there for ladies. Congrats!
                As God is my witness, I'll never be hungry again.

                  Woohooo - this is great! Right now I can only do band-assisted pullups - and that is with the widest possible band. One of these days I hope to get here as well. Congratulations!

                        Congratulations, that is awesome!
                        A year ago, I couldn't do a single pull up, and the other day I managed 10 chinups in a set. As soon as you've got your first unassisted one in, it'll be easier to improve even further

                              I have a lofty pullup goal myself for this year. I can do one or two (have done 4 in the past), though not dead hang. Aiming for 10 in 364 days.
