  • Track Season workouts

    Track season workouts are great from some aspects of primal blueprint: we do heavy lifting 3 times a week and sprint with full recoveries between each individual sprint. I'm just wondering if I'll run into issues with the amount of sprinting we do because it's typically 5-6 times per week. Should I increase anything in my diet to compensate for the amount of sprinting?

      i feel like track is the ultimate primal sport to participate in...running short distances fast, jumping, throwing rocks and spears, etc., but every day could take it's toll. definitely get some good sleep like jfreaksho mentioned. don't add to your diet unless you feel you need to. if you're low on energy or not progressing where you want to, then start fueling a little more.
