  • need a quick & dirty kettlebell full body circuit workout for the holiday

    I have traveled to a relatives house and brought 2 kettlebells with me. one 20 pounder the other a 15. I need a taxing workout to do in the morning before i inevitably gorge on some sweet potatoes.

    ill also be doing a 30 minute cycle on a spin bike for a bit of cardio

    Kb swings
    And goblet squats

    Do it under 8 minutes!

      whats is the third thing? or does it go swings then squats then back to swings?

        Russian kettlebell challenge!

        3 mins swing series (10 2 hand, 10 right hand,10 left, 10 switch swings as many times through as possible.)
        3 mins snatch (10 right,10 left repeat)
        3 mins Turkish get-ups (5 reps per side)
        add in 3 mins clean/press if you want.
        cycle through twice if you want.

          Viking Warrior Conditioning - take your heaviest bell and set a swing timer for 15seconds on 15seconds rest do this for 80 rounds. The movement is the snatch ....

          I do this with a 16kg (35lb) and it really hits everything also its cardio and takes about forty minutes to complete.

          Great workout while on the road ... I usually do it about twice a week in between other workouts but you can do it as much as you want .... make sure your form is solid or your back will be sore.

              KB 300 take 2

              100 2 handed swings
              5 Turkish get ups each side
              100 2H swings
              5 TGU each side
              100 2H swings
              5 TGU each side

              Do it for time and try to beat next time.

                This one always kicked my butt. I used a 25 or 30 lb bell.

                5 two hand Russian swings (not overhead)
                5 two hand American swings (overhead)
                5 RH cleans/5 LH cleans
                5 RH clean & press/5 LH clean & press
                5 RH snatch/ 5 LH snatch
                5 goblet squats

                keep going for 20 minutes. Rest minimally when needed. I could usually make it through the first round without putting down the bell but would have to rest in later sets.

                  I did an easy session last week.

                  2 sets.

                  20KB Swings
                  ladder 1-10 Burpees

                  20KB Snatches
                  ladder 1-10 Press Ups.

                  Was planning on doing a third set of rack and shoulder presses and lunges but I was battered after the 2 sets!

                  Simple but very effective
                  2010 - 5,11 and 101KG

                  2012 - 5,11 and 77KG

                  Train hard, eat well and love life
