Doc, take it from the master himself .

I admire your humility, but that's some heavy deadlifting, regardless of age. Being 68 and doing that makes it all the more impressive, much moreso than anything I've ever dreamed of accomplishing with a barbell.

Eden, you're a record breaking powerlifter, and no offense, but if I'm not mistaken, you aren't exactly in your 20s.

Age aside, you and Rich are both great examples of the adage: Strong people rise by lifting others up.

                          • Today didn't suck as bad; back feels slightly improved. Still kind of tough to get over 225 down into squat position, but it wasn't as crappy. Stuck to a bunch of rehab and mobility, and some bench and light 225 deadlifts to see how the back felt on those. I dunno. I'll survive.

265, with a two-second pause at the bottom, went up relatively easily on bench, though, so that's good!

                            • Nice benching, as usual, Mr. A. My night was a mostly good one over here:

                              Squat: 365 x 6 (PR!)
                              Press: 125 x 5, 140 x 5, 160 x 4, 155 x 3, 155 x 3
                              Deadlift in shoes: 330 x 5, 380 x 5, 430 x 5. Shoesdeadlift PR.

I'd give my teeth for your bench. Whatz left of them, anyway.
