    Yeah, I was stalling out before a little deload cycle, and just ramping back up for the 6 weeks leading up to the next meet. I did all that on short rest periods. My work capacity is definitely at or near an all-time high, which should help push the max weights up if I've got my programming laid out correctly. Which I think I do. 1200 @ 148 here I come!

    • Made a goal of mine today. Did double my bodyweight on squats. 160kg/352lbs. I'm resetting/dealoading after that as I failed one of my sets but I managed 1x5 and 1x8 reps.

            • Saturday: 30 min walk/run. I started the Couch to 5k program again. Let's see if I finish it this time. I'm still feeling sore today, but not so much that I don't think I could run (the rain is the only thing stopping me).

                I'm obviously late to the party with this question but I'll ask anyway. You stopped CrossFit? Did something happen?

                  Carpal tunnel & forearm tendonitis (from shoveling, not CF!). Both arms. It's been two months and I still can't do daily activities without pain. I'm doing PT and just started acupuncture as well.

                      What?!? That's rude and no one asked his opinion anyway. I don't "know" you to not finish things anyway. Ignore the jackass. A friend of mine did couch to 5K and I accompanied her in her first 5K. The program is user friendly and not strenuous at all. Have fun!

                      • Thanks The last time I tried C25k in August of 2013, I made it into the third week. Don't remember what happened then (maybe just didn't want to continue), but I've been wanting to try again since then. Shin pain is always the thing that bugs me early on, so we'll see how that goes.
