                      • Officially starting the Starting Strength novice recommended routine for the New Year! Today:

                        Squat: 3x5 @ 230
                        Press: 3x5 @ 95
Deadlift: 1x5 @ 205 (had to break it into two parts; feared I was doing something wrong that would lead to injury)

                        • Warm-up
20 reps of kettlebell deadlift (all with 25 lbs, bit too heavy for a warm-up)
                          20 reps of kettlebell swing
20 reps of kettlebell goblet squat
                          20 reps of kettlebell swing
                          20 reps of kettlebell deadlift

                          Then:
                          6-6-6 reps of:
back squat (started at 63lbs, backed off to 53lbs because knee felt weird)
                          6-6-6 reps of:
                          deadlift (83lbs)

                          WOD: Suicides
[With markers at 3 yards, 6 yards, 12 yards, and 25 yards]
                          5 reps of suicide sprints
(Didn't bother tracking time on this)
