Left forearm felt fine last week after 3-4 days with no exercise. After a week since my last CF class, there was some weird feelings, but no pain. It feels totally fine today, so I think I'm in the clear. If it starts hurting again, I'll probably see a doc, but they'll probably tell me to rest it and take Ibuprofen.

            • Daily yoga session.

              Body by science session of:
Front raise 5/5 for 15 reps
Band rows 5/5 for 15 reps
Bi curl 5/5 for 15 reps
Lying tri extensions 5/5 for 11 reps

Obviously went too light as it was supposed to be to failure. Deliberately started light for first session.

Well my coworker convinced me to go to the chiropractor today for the knot in my back. Got my elbow adjusted as well. That should help.

                • I feel like I'm taking over this thread, sorry for so many posts lately.

                  Today's strength was power cleans.
65lbs for a single max rep

Uhh...but that's definitely not my max because I stupidly stuck with that weight for the WOD ><. I am hella sore in a really good way. Haven't felt like this since I started CrossFit 2 months ago.

Let me see if I can explain it in a not confusing way.

                  3 power cleans
                  6 push-ups (modified to knees)
                  9 air squats
Do as many as possible in 3 min, then rest for 1 min.

Repeat all that 5 times for a 20 min workout.

I did two "sets" within each round and was pretty demolished.

And I'm going tomorrow. That's three days in a row this week hahaha

Sounds like you were doing 'the chief'? I loved that one (a boasting record of 6 rounds every 3minutes which I managed for each time through). Sounds like you did really well, impressive.

                          • Oh and I had my second session with my physio for the shoulder yesterday. He (and I) were much impressed with my improvement in just a week. Basically I'm quite strong overall, but have a huge weak spot in the muscles connecting the scapulae and spine, so I'll be adding lots of shrug variations and some extra rotator cuff work, and that should do the trick.

When you do face pulls do you include an exterbal rotation?
When I think face pulls I think pulling the rope pulley towards my chest/neck then externally rotating?

You do this for shoulder health right?

Yeah, I'm basically pulling horizontally straight to my face while spreading the ends of the rope apart as far as I can. There's some naturally-occurring external rotation there. I also do a lot of band pull-aparts, even on non-training days.
