  • Still too darn hazy, hot and humid for me here, so today I'm just biking.

      Overhead Press: Worked up to 115 lbs x 4 reps

      Power cleans: 115 lbs x 3 x 3

      • band pull downs, 4 sets of good mornings, over head 9# ball toss: all in 7 minutes.
        Started PB late 2008, lost 50 lbs by late 2009. Have been plateaued, but that thing may just be biting the dust: more on that later.

            • Did this bodyweight circuit of bulgarian lunges, hindu pushups, squats and pullups:

              Plus an abdominal circuit with a 20-pound medicine ball:
              30-seconds Russian Twists
              10 right and 10 left Rotational Situps
              20 Situp Toe Touches
              Did 3 rounds

                • Mountain biking yesterday was AWESOME! Can't wait to go again.

                  Today, second circuit training of the week:
                  8 Inverted Rows
                  15 Box Jumps
                  12 Push-Ups
                  12 Lunges + 15#, Each Leg
                  30sec. Front/Side Planks
                  Repeat 5x = ~25 minutes

                  Emphasized speed a little more today. I think I could have gotten in more reps, better next time I suppose. :-)

                        • I had forgotten how the Tabata Protocol can make me feel like such a weakling at any given moment. Sledgehammers, Jumpropes, Push-ups, and Sit-ups. I still feel my workout from lunchtime.
