  • Walked for 30 minutes. Skipped some rope. Did some circuit training with pushups/bicep curls/shoulder press and planks!

    People say I am on a "crazy" diet. What is so crazy about eating veggies, fruits, seafood and organ meats? Just because I don't eat whole wheat and processed food doesn't make my diet "crazy". Maybe everyone else with a SAD are the "crazy" ones for putting that junk in their system.

      • I'm doing sprints on the elliptical, put it on interval at level 16 (out of 20) after warmup do 8 - 10 pickups for one minute with a minute rest, the last 20 seconds of the pickups are really fast, hard and intense, it's over in 35 minutes. My left knee is shot from years of hard training for 10k's and marathons. The elliptical allows me to do sprints without the pounding on my knee. In the summer I'll run on grass at a near by soccer field. Weight days I'll take different weight workouts from P90X and modify them so as to get them done in 30 minutes or less. Except for Core Synergistics I do the full workout.

            21-15-9 reps of:
            Clean 135 pounds
            Ring dips

            except I only did 88# (for shame!) since my shoulders wanted to fall off
            and I used a blue band on my dips which basically turned them into dips

            I'm such a cheater :/

              • Week 5 of Starting Strength Original Novice programme (after a 9 year lay off):
                Squat 176 3X5
                Bench Press 121 3X5
                Deadlift 176 1X5
                Numbers still going up every workout and will do for a number of weeks to come!
                Loving this programme.

                Cable crunches 3x10
                Side crunches 3X10
                Leg raises 3X10
                Crunches 3X10

                  • Moving slowly day. 1 hour total. 10 minute walk followed with 25 minute run/jog and finishing with a 25 minute cool down walk.

                          27 double unders

                          It killed me (took 27:25 which I am not proud of)

                          Afterwards rowed 2000 meters and did about 50 pushups and situps

                          My VO2Max is still laughable. Heavy Lifts are good. Very frustrating to feel like I constantly cannot get enough oxygen.

                            Now, just sing the song to your self and you can see how it all worked out. Took me 35 minutes and 41 seconds. What fun!

                            • Exercising my glutes by sitting all day and working on my thesis.
                              Exercised my digestive track by eating a bunch of delicious food.
                              Oh yea, and I walked for about 40 minutes too.
