  • Quick Bodyweight Workout Video

Betcha there's a least one bodyweight exercise variation in this 45 second clip that you haven't seen before!

I so love your videos, not that I will ever be able to do close. However at the grand age of 46 I have at last got the upperbody strength to do press ups, so I am progressing.
It just amazes me what you can do. Very inspirational.

Ditto, you always make me smile when I see what you can do.

Climbing to the top of the pole and then doing a clutch flag was awesome!

        Your book came last week

Really enjoyed it, good solid progressions that are explained well. Now I just need to incorporate some of them in my workouts.

Thanks! And don't give up on yourself due to age, I've seen some older folk who can do some pretty amazing stuff. Check these guys out: Never Too Old to Work Out - YouTube

Thanks! I'm more accustomed to inspiring people to want to workout, but if I'm inspiring you to get more tats thats pretty cool too!

Thanks! If you're new to bodyweight training, start with the basics and take your time working up towards harder moves. Probably best not to try anything from this video for a while.

If you want more info on bodyweight training, check out my blog (link in sig) or my new book, Raising The Bar.

Those older folk were great as well, you all looked like you were having fun and make it look so easy.
When I have a go at anything like that, I feel embarrassed as I am so stiff and heavy in comparison. As I have just watched you I assume it is going to be easier than what it is. Oh well, Onwards and upwards.

Keep at it and be patient. All the things you see me do in these videos took lots and lots of practice to make look easy!

Thanks very much! And since pretty much everyone at that park knows me by now, I don't get as many funny looks anymore.

your finger/joint strength is crazy. I've been devoting more time to strengthening my wrists and fingers and spending a lot more time in handstands but I'm still pretty far from full fingertip push ups for reps.
I used to seriously post here, now I prefer to troll.

I thought this too. What exercises are you doing to strenghtening them?

I've done various fingertip holds as well as plenty of grip work hanging from the bar. Just doing lots of pull-ups will do wonders for your grip. I'm actually planning to do a blog post on grip/fingertip strength at some point in the near future.

In the meantime, there is a great book I recommend with lots of info on training your grip, fingers and hands. It's called Convict Conditioning 2.
