  • Pre Warrior Dash Meal

I am partaking in my first warrior dash in two weeks in Earlham Iowa. For those who don't know, warrior dash is a ~3 mile run with 10 or so obstacles consisting of rope climbs, jumping over things, crawling etc. I plan on being semi-competitive. I am running the 10am heat and was hoping for some primal breakfast ideas, and when in relation to the heat should I eat.

My usual breakfast is coconut milk or eggs. Preparing breakfast might be a issue as I will probably be camping and won't have my usual complement of gear.

Thank you in advance for suggestions!

it's a 3 mile race... drink some coco milk and have at er

I ran a Tough Mudder on a banana and electrolytes, and I am not a runner.
I didn't like the rules you gave me, so I made some of my own.

Ha, this. I had a sausage and a banana and was good to go.
Timing is up to you, I prefer to eat about two hours beforehand, but other people can eat right before and be just fine.

Of more importance is probably what you eat the night before, maybe have like a sweet potato in addition to your ample amounts of meat and veggies. Day of maybe a small breakfast a few hours before 6-7am ish.
