  • Rep Tempo/Slow Training

If you’re looking to maximize your training, what’s the best speed to perform your reps?

Agree with you. I try to combine both rather often... they're both very fun and demanding.

I don't know if I'm crazy about the new paint color at TSP...
I used to seriously post here, now I prefer to troll.

Did slow tempo chinups today... hate slow tempo, but I know why it works
I didn't like the rules you gave me, so I made some of my own.

Thanks! The paint is neither here nor there for me, but the bars still work just as good as ever.

Right on - it's definitely a weird feeling if you're accustomed to a faster cadence.

great topic. i love/hate slow cadence movements. they're hard, but they definitely let you know which muscles you're using. i can't imagine going slow on dragon flags.

and, al, the slow movements, the beard, alone in a park...i don't know...that's just the teensiest bit creepy. i half expected to see the 'free candy' van in the background.

What, you don't want any of my candy?

Doesn't matter - the new paint isn't holding up very well, will probably be gone by the end of the summer.

                Good point!

Any chance I might see you at TSP for bootcamp tomorrow?

Getting rid of the momentum sure does make a big difference.
